TODAY: The Israeli colonial forces storm the Bedouin village of Umm al-Hiran in large numbers to demolish the mosque and erase the remaining structures. The village, located in the Naqab, was stormed by thousands of police officers, helicopters, and dozens of bulldozers, (1/3)
and village leaders were detained in Hura, a village close by, before dawn. Over the past week, Bedouin residents demolished all of the village's houses themselves, leaving only the mosque standing, to avoid the hefty fines they would face if the state carried out the (2/3)
demolitions. As the bulldozers entered the village, police detained two 'Activestills' photographers, preventing them from documenting the mosque's demolition and forcing them to leave the area. Photos: @MoharAvishay & Omri SP / Activestills. (3/3)
