I previously showed how paedophile advocacy organisations lobbied @APApsychiatric when drafting the DSM-5. It's important to remember they got the APA to split the definition of paraphilias incl paedophilia into 2 categories - I'll come back to this.
@Rebeccasaysno's documented how the 'sexologists' @APApsychiatric rewrote the definitions in the diagnostic manuals used by psychologists & psychiatrists around the world, including in the NHS. They unethically redefined paedophilia & transvestism.
However, the psych professions were not their only tool. The Lucy Faithfull Foundation (LFF) is a 'sex offender treatment organisation' (inc children) that markets itself as a 'child protection' organisation. It previously advertised B4U-ACT as being a patron on its website.

B4U-ACT proudly advertises on their website the doctoral 'research' that they have facilitated by supplying paedophiles to research. Just like PIE & the @AlbanyTrust in the 70's (links below).
I previously highlighted how B4U-ACT had produced problematic suicide 'research'. Their propaganda has been referenced by doctoral candidates, some of whom now work for LFF. B4U-ACT's output is full of circular referencing & source laundering.
Because all 'research' is curated by B4U-ACT this makes it propaganda rather than research. B4U-ACT are very clear about what form any 'research' or 'therapy' should take. Eg. They advocate for 'affirmation only' therapy.
@Lucy_Faithfull_ links from their website to the paedophile advocacy organisations B4U-ACT & Virtuous Paedophiles. Funded by @oakfnd the 'Eradicating Child Sexual Assault' (ECSA) initiative was created by @DonaldFindlater.
StopItNow (LFF's helpline), ECSA, Circles UK, & Parents Protect are initiatives of @DonaldFindlater, the retired CEO of LFF. Findlater established the first offender treatment centre for paedophiles at the Wolvercote Clinic.
@JamesCantorPhD & @CraigHarper19 are on the pro-paedophilia organisation Prostasia's Advisory Council. Prostasia & B4U-ACT are closely linked. My previous criticism of Cantor's work is linked below.
Findlater presented at the same conferences as Cantor & Harper, promotes Cantor's ideas on paedophilia in the media, coincidentally alongside Cantor himself. Perhaps it's less of a coincidence when Harper's quoted as well.
Findlater & Harper spoke at the @churchofengland 2017 Safeguarding Summit. Findlater sits on various Church of England Safeguarding Panels. Michael Seto works with Cantor & is often quoted alongside.
Findlater advised on the CoE Past Cases Review & George Bell's Independent Review. The former Archbishop of Canterbury @JustinWelby has written forewords for publications Findlater was involved in.
The 2022 Police Foundation Report (a policing think-tank) advises LFF is the defacto source of support for offenders, focused on preventing reoffending rather than punishment. Low conviction rates & lying aren't considered.
Findlater has fabricated statistics on female paedophiles, & reported on them with a former helpline operator Steve Lowe, contrary to MoJ data. 2013 LFF said more focus on female offenders is needed.
Solomon Friedman, Pornhub's owner, has lectured lawyers on how to get a lighter sentence for those in possession of child sexual assault images. @LailaMickelwait has worked to seek justice for Pornhub's litany of crimes.
Stuart Allardyce represented StopItNow Scotland (a branch of LFF) in the Scottish Parliament. He was part of a 2019 Justice Scotland Report on changing CSAM sentencing guidelines in which only @VeraBaird dissented.
Allardyce writes a lot about children as 'offenders'. He's argued the definition of a sexual crime needs to change because victims access CSA images. Allardyce & Harper contributed chapters to Sexual Crime & Prevention.
Stephen Webster of @NatCen & Donald Findlater have often collaborated. Webster's 2014 @NatCen Report quotes Cantor's problematic brain scans, Seto's argument for good Vs bad paedophiles, & he advocates for 'protection' instead of punishment.
Webster & Findlater have presented together at the 2014 LFF onlinePROTECT Conference. "Systematic empirical research is crucial to identify potential differences and similarities between contact and non-contact sex offenders." Escalation is ignored.
Remember my 2nd post earlier when I said @APApsychiatric expanded the categories? Well @NatCen & @Lucy_Faithfull_ were at the opposite end collapsing the sentencing categories.
As documented by @guyadams for @MailOnline Keir Starmer was at 21 of the 23 meetings that put these changes through. That's how they ALL let it happen.
Over to you @KemiBadenoch to do what your office demands of you.
@guyadams @MailOnline @KemiBadenoch To journalists with integrity this will be of the utmost importance.

To those whose duty is to children and victims this is important.

Remember the 1970s and the Paedophile Information Exchange (PIE) scandals?
Recognise many of the same arguments from back then in the current culture wars?
Then read on. You're about to be proven right.
Welcome to PIE2024 - the international version (with a TRA boost).

In 2009 convicted child rapist Michael Melsheimer reassured his fellow paedophile ringleaders that his plan to use the psychological community to gain social acceptance would work. The end of @Goryodynasty's paper has the conversation's transcript.
Inspired by Tom O'Carroll's writings, Melsheimer co-founded B4U-ACT, a paedophile advocacy group promoting itself as a 'child protection' organisation. @WomenReadWomen previously covered some of their 'destigmatisation' tactics with @ReduxxMag.
Curious to know who is behind @T_ACTT? They're the therapists who have created the petition to remove the entire UKCP Board because the UKCP withdrew from the Memorandum of Understanding Against Conversion Therapy (MoU2) citing child safeguarding concerns. psychotherapy.org.uk/news/ukcp-upda…
2. So @Alex52203251899 and I did some digging.
As the first signatory on the Petition is LJ Potter, we figure Potter is probably the author. Potter is a founder of @T_ACTT and up until recently was a course leader and lecturer at Staffordshire University. openletter.earth/ukcps-recent-w…
3. @T_ACTT believes that anything other than 'affirmation only' therapy is conversion therapy. That means exploratory therapy that doesn't affirm is problematic. This is contrary to research showing that suicide rates actually increase after 'transition'. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38699117/
My article "Debunking Myths About Victorian Sexuality" shows how Michel Foucault fabricated English history. Our genuine history is far more scandalous. 1drv.ms/b/s!Ar0dOGr7B4…
My brief Letter to the Editor with additional information about how the events of 1885 unfolded when homosexuality was banned in the UK. The notorious Labouchere amendment, instigated by William Thomas Stead, originally intended to protect male children from sexual exploitation, but it created a nightmare for gay men everywhere, and resulted in the incarceration of Oscar Wilde and Alan Turing, amongst others. Stead actually died some years later on the Titanic.
My critique of Foucault's 'The History of Sexuality' continues with my article 'Finding Foucault' published by @SocExistential in the Hermeneutic Circular. I challenge some of the propaganda he created about ancient Greece and show another side of male sexuality that Foucault tried to ignore.
