Over the last decade, Democrats & the media said that those of us who opposed DEI, racial quotas, and open borders had gone “far right.” We hadn’t. Rather, Democrats and the media had gone far left. We are only now emerging from 10+ years of extreme, psychopathic gaslighting. 
Make no mistake: it was the mainstream news media that induced the mass psychosis that radicalized Democrats into believing that the US had somehow become *more* racist, against all available evidence.
The media did this. The mass brainwashing came from college-educated elites in control of the most powerful propaganda machine in world history. They got Democrats to believe the ludicrous view that their fellow Americans had somehow become secretly racist, practically overnight.
Media brainwashing turned moderate Democrats into raving, radical Leftists. They started using jargon like “white supremacy,” “white privilege,” and “structural racism.” Oblivious to their programming, they projected their extremism on to those of us whose views hadn’t changed.
By the time we got to 2016, Democrats had become completely unhinged. They made everything political, hunted heretics, and weaponized the government — three core characteristics of totalitarianism. The reelection of Trump broke the trance, but the damage to relationships remains.

We will look back on the last 10 years as a media-induced Woke Reign of Terror. Scholars will weigh various factors: the rise of social media, the fishbowl effect, BLM, the rise of Millennials, intensifying narcissism, Obama, counter populism, the overproduction of elites, etc.
Happily, the recent election shows just how out of touch white progressives have become. The liberation of X helped made that possible. The longhouse of censorial and Woke-mobby Twitter led elites to believe their views were mainstream, and made them arrogant in the extreme.
