We could start anywhere, but let’s just randomly pick an agency off the list and dive into it. The Minority Business Development Agency was made permanent in 2021 by the Minority Business Development Act, part of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
From its website: “The Minority Business Development Agency’s (MBDA) mission is to promote the growth and global competitiveness of Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) in order to unlock the country’s full economic potential.”
This agency directs capital & contracts to biz run by “socially or economically disadvantaged individuals”. The agency ‘facilitated’ $1.2B in capital investments and $1.6B in government contracts to minority business enterprises in FY 2022.
The agency claims to have “created or retained” 15K jobs in FY2022. Much of this money allegedly comes from ‘private’ sources but that’s $186,000 per job.
As you can see from their FY2022 Performance Summary, this is an explicitly race-driven spoils agency. 
They 'facilitated' even more in 2023, $1.5B in investments and $3.8B in contracts (more than 100% increase over FY2022!). They haven’t published a FY2023 report yet though. Efficient!
In the Minority Business Development Act, “socially or economically disadvantaged individual” is defined as basically anybody who isn’t white. Group identity is the only salient criteria. MJ & LeBron would both qualify as “economically disadvantaged” under this act's wording.
This agency has a budget of $110M per year, mostly earmarked to create “MBDA Business Centers” to help qualifying businesses access capital and contracts, and get counseling and mentoring.
In March 2024, a U.S. District Court found the MBDA’s presumption of social disadvantage for certain program applicants to be unconstitutional and ordered the agency to discontinue using race or ethnicity as criteria for receiving services.
The ruling guts the very reason for the agency's existence. This is a clear handout to Democratic party clients and is clearly against Federal "strict scrutiny" standards for agencies discriminating by race or ethnicity.
$110M may not amount to much given the federal budget but the corrosiveness goes far beyond just this agency's budget. They are redirecting government and private spending to politically connected “minority” companies, almost all Democrat controlled.
This agency should be eliminated with extreme prejudice! (Pun intended.) If we can’t even get rid of an agency created so recently (2021), which has also already been ruled illegal by a Federal court, we can’t get rid of anything at all. Abolish the MBDA.
