On the ground in Kursk Russia occupied by Ukraine. The intensity of the artillery shelling here is insane every minute multiple shells being fired. Drones buzzing overhead , it’s terrifying you only can hear them when they’re within about 40 meters distance , too late to react
Houses leveled by Russian FAB bombs on their own towns. I interviewed Civilians brainwashed by the kremlin who believed Ukraine towns were not attacked and that Russia was invited into Ukraine. Reminds me of propaganda the US got about the Iraq war .
We used a Canadian armored vehicle like MRAP to push into Sudzha about 1 and a half miles from Russian infantry , well within range of drone’ / artillery . We used electronic warfare devices switched on that make a loud buzz hooked up to roof to jam drones on different frequencies
I believe I will now be put on a list by Moscow for “illegally entering Russia without an authorized passport” the double speak backwards thinking. It’s hypocrisy that I shouldn’t be allowed to report from occupied Russia as they report from occupied Ukraine territory.
The Ukrainian military set up pictures of their destroyed towns to try to explain to the local Russians what is happening. They think it’s fake . They do not believe Russia has lost thousands of tanks.
A soldier told me they faced no partisan resistance, no locals took up arms against them.
The fighting here is in swamps you can’t dig deep because of the water level . It’s wooded areas , it’s filled with brush to hide in. The roads are chewed to *** by artillery and tracked armor eating the asphalt apart. It slows down transport in the region .
Soldiers report fighting North Korean troops , captured Russians have confirmed this. They are grateful for the ATACM missile authorization in Kursk but they think it’s too late of a call to impact that much .

This is Mayhem an American Fallujah Iraq War veteran fighting for Ukraine in the international Legion. He's operating under GUR intelligence. He just got off a weeks long rotation to the trenches in a classified part of eastern Ukraine. His weapon is a 7.62 minimi. 1/
Mayhem joking said he joined because of his 3rd divorce, then he said the real reason was because he wanted to make up for the wrongs he did in Iraq. He felt like it was a chance to actually help people who were being invaded. He'd gotten into a brief firefight already 2/
When I traveled with him and his squad to the infiltration point I could feel the tension in the air. Everyone made jokes to try to distract themselves from the impending mission. 3/
M2 Bradley in Kursk direction. I witnessed how the infantrymen live while fighting here. They have a safe house away from the front where they rotate with another vehicle. Their Brad took multiple 30mm and FPV drone strikes and it continues to fight. thread 1/
you can see the EW electronic warfare device on the top of the turret to block multiple frequencies. but the soldiers told me Russia is using wired drones that can be jammed. Their tactic is to drop off infantry at the zero line then provide support by fire for them.
rotations last for 2 days on the front then replaced and you go back to refit. The safe house has Starlink internet access. It's small but they can cook and sleep there. They said TOW launchers aren't useful in this drection like they were in Pokrovosk.
I understand why the US military is having recruitment problems. I enlisted because I wanted to give back to the country for all the opportunity it gave me. The next generation is instead locked up in their homes for 2 years and given the gig economy for jobs
I didn't enlist for money, I turned down a $20K bonus so I could have a short contract, deploy and get out. throwing money at the youth won't work. They don't have the patriotism, can't blame them No great enemy. Everyone tells them soldiers are fascists'
they're worried about joining and getting psychological problems - no surprise - because the media spent the last two decades selling movies about PTSD. The army has only met 40% of their recruitment goals so far this year.
