#Syria: this is the first footage released by Rebels showing their weaponized & suicide drones used against Regime.
The first models were used on 31st December 2017 & killed 2 Russian soldiers inside Khemimim Airbase.
Hundreds were launched since that.
#Syria: after Rebels disclosed for the first time their weaponized & suicide drones yesterday, they also released for the first time a footage showing their use of FPV drones vs Assad's forces.
It was known rebels had FPV drones, but it's the first evidence publicly released.
#Syria: Rebels (Shaheen unit) use many drones in ongoing offensive.
Yesterday a strike against an helicopter in Nayrab Airbase was claimed while today Fateh Mubin Op. Room says its drones targeted several Regime rocket launchers in the W. #Aleppo countryside.
#Syria: Rebels' weaponized drones striking pro-Assad forces in the W. #Aleppo countryside, including a large column retreating in front of Rebel's advance.
Syrian Rebels created their own version of a FPV drone long before the war in Ukraine which popularized their use.
Those suicide models seen in the video are used since 2018 to strike Russian & Assad's forces.
This is the first evidence Rebels disclosed.
#Syria: Rebels unveiled the heaviest version of their suicide drones, carrying a significant payload.
Used only few times past years, they used it to strike the Assad Military Academy in #Aleppo (one of main military bases in the city).
#Syria: the heavy "missile-drone" developed by Rebels in action somewhere on the front.
#Syria: a Rebels' drone attacked #Hama Airbase today.
Couple of #SyAF L-39s are visible (Eastern side of the Airbase).
#Syria: Rebels keep using many drones.
They claimed today strikes on a gathering of Officers atop of the Mount overlooking Hama-city, Regime vehicles & a 130 mm gun on the N. Hama front.
Several downed too from Masyaf, Homs to N. Hama.
#Syria: Rebels are also aiming for the Airbases with their drones.
They targeted this afternoon Shayrat Airbase S. of #Homs. It's ~100 km from the front.
For comparison, the Russian Airbase in #Kheimimim is 40 km from the front.
#Syria: such kind of video is typical of the war in Ukraine.
But Rebels are now also striking SAA tanks with their FPV drones.

#Syria: attacks past weeks vs the Security Forces mostly concern 4 provinces but in #Latakia they become more regular.
So far those are small uncoordinated attacks - hit & run tactics by lightly-armed fighters - but trend is clear: an insurgency is emerging.
Bloody months ahead.
#Syria: Regime remnants targeted several vehicles in area of Jablah (#Latakia countryside), killing a member of the Security Forces.
They targeted again same place while rescuers & ambulances arrived.
A security operation is underway in the area with clashes ongoing.
#Syria: situation is escalating in Jablah countryside (#Latakia).
For the first time since downfall of Assad, an attack helicopter is used against Regime remnants amidst ongoing operation in the area (after a member of the Security was killed).
#Syria: a new group called "Saraya Ansar Sunnah" claimed responsibility for killing 9 people in E. #Hama, claiming they were part of former Regime.
They oppose Gov' policy on ex-Assadists & say they will target Alawites & Shias in retaliation for what they did with Assad Regime.
#Syria: Ansar Sunnah also claims responsibility for the killing of a man (also claiming was part of Regime) from Jablah, abducted days ago.
His body was found today. Tortured, he was dumped in the sea.
#Syria: a death squad killed tonight 4 men in a shop in Marqia (S. of Baniyas, #Tartus province).
#Syria: kidnappings are often a way to get easily money amidst dire economic situation.
This isn't new, but while before most cases weren't reported, we now see the real extent of such operations.
It happens almost every day, from Suwayda to Aleppo. Here from #Damascus👇
#Pt. While a number of gangs involved in kidnappings were arrested by the Security Forces past days in several areas, 2 women abducted were executed in W. #Homs.
One is from the village where Shujaa Al-Ali, head of a kidnapping gang, was slain in Dec. '24.
#Syria: ongoing demining activities by the Civil Defense amidst the "Hope for Returnees" program.
Some areas were a no-man's land for years and are full of mines, IEDs and sub-munitions.
The task is colossal and will require international assistance.
#Syria: at least 3 fighters were killed today during demining operations on the former fronts:
- One in area of the former al-Tanf zone
- 2 (including a military Engineer - 2nd photo) in the E. #Idlib countryside.
#Syria: 6 civilians belonging to the same family, including 3 children, were killed by a mine while coming back to the area of Rahjan (E. #Hama).
In Sanamayn (N. #Daraa), 2 kids who played with an explosive remnant of war and took it home were also killed.
#Syria: this is reportedly a photo shot tonight of the infamous Saydnaya prison N. of #Damascus.
This is the biggest Assad's slaughterhouse of the country.
Once taken, expect scenes/testimonies reminiscent of the nazi camps.
More on the jail: forensic-architecture.org/investigation/…
#Syria: those are the first moments after Rebels reached the infamous Saydnaya prison N. of #Damascus and started to liberate prisoners.
This is Raghid Al-Tatari.
He is a Syrian Air Force Pilot who refused to bomb the city of Hama on Hafez Assad orders in the early 1980s.
He was freed today from Saydnaya prison after 43 years of jail.
#Syria.
