Spoke to @captainbiggalow & got photos they received from their colleges at Manchester airport. No metadata could be recovered, ELA good. Timeline clarified, object seen on ground (1) (2), reported to tower, ops vehicle investigates (3), orb shoots up and video taken (4).
Since this is blowing up, and OP has deleted their account, here's more: UAP was about the size of a small car, as you can kind of see in (3) with the op vehicle. Said it shot upward when approached in 15 kt winds and hovered above, as seen in (4).
No air traffic rerouted as far as they knew. Said, in general, that UAPs had become a hot topic among commercial pilots. I connected him with @SafeAerospace and promoted a confidential report.
Last details: The poster said they got this from their 'colleagues' and said the first mate recorded it. They didn't know what metadata or a gif was. Said they got the attached files airdropped. No metadata available. Attached represents the exact unaltered files given to me.
Poster created Reddit account and answered questions before deleting, said the incident happened in June. "But rest assured we know what we are looking at in the skies. This is not a balloon or a drone and has been a hot topic of conversation in our community for quite a while."
"We’ve got enough on our plates trying to keep up with the complexities of the operation. Pilots are very science/fact based. Seeing is believing. Well he’s now a believer."
