I'm going to keep it 💯: I'm a fan of @TVietor08, @jonfavs, and the #PodSaveAmerica community

They took podcasting seriously at a time when many on our side overlooked it, and connected it to mobilizing voters and activating volunteers. That's objectively good stuff 🧵
They've also cultivated a volunteer community that's shown up time and again to help win close fights up and down the ballot in Wisconsin (where I collaborated with them as @WisDems' Senior Digital Director)
We did an epic "Pod Save Wisconsin" event that drove up voter and volunteer enthusiasm ahead of a crucial spring election last year.

17 days later we flipped the Wisconsin Supreme Court by a historic 11 points (a Wisconsin landslide!)

This is the type of collaboration/innovation at the intersection of new media and electoral organizing I'd *love* to see more of in our party—it works!
Crooked Media is also a union shop, run by @crooked_union. Again: objectively good.

Continuing to keep in 💯: I haven't watched/listened to the Pod Save America episode that's caused all the #discourse. And I don't plan to anytime soon. I'm going to enjoy this Thanksgiving weekend with my family ♥️
But the great @themaxburns asked me to join him for a conversation about this cycle, what I saw/learned, and my initial thinking on the path forward. That's what's in the episode releasing tomorrow:

I've been reflecting a LOT since Election Day, and there's so much I want to share/believe needs to be teased out. And I think it's important for us to have these conversations publicly and transparently and honestly.
Too often, in our party, important conversations are had in information silos which lead to incomplete/imperfect analysis leading to false or half answers.

That needs to change. And I think that starts with ALL of us being more open about our experiences, intel, and learnings.
Especially those of us that have worked on campaigns or at party committees or c4s, etc.

Most of what we do and observe and learn isn't common knowledge.
I don't know about you, but much of what's come across my feeds since Election Day has been aggro finger-pointing and shallow analysis. Content that's trying to "win" some argument instead of deep, honest reflection.

We should change that!
We have so many data points with-in ourselves to share with voters/volunteers so that they learn and grow alongside us, and make better decisions about where to invest their hard-earned money and limited time.
So, I'm going to be sharing and reflecting more publicly than I ever have before. And I hope you join me in doing that!

Oh and make sure to follow me on that other place as I'm increasingly less active #onhere
