1) You'll recall I mentioned a week or so ago that in fact I was not euphoric on election night, mainly because I had been so certain this result would occur.

2) Something has happened, though, as other Americans digested the Trump victory.
3) Reuters described the confidence in the economy today as "euphoric."

4) I think Glen Reynolds' substack today absolutely nails it. "The Clock Strikes Thirteen."

5) He references a time when all of a sudden problems just begin to "go away."
6) I'm sure you've all had a pain or sickness and thought "My God. Am I ever going to be normal again?" Sometimes it's horrible pain.

Then . . . one day, it's just gone. You didn't do anything special. It just sort of burned itself out.
7) When I wrote a week or so ago that I didn't think the DemoKKKrats could "resist" this time around, I was right. Reynolds explains to a great degree what that is.

8) He argues here it's a "preference cascade."
instapundit.substack.com/p/the-clock-st…
9) I felt it a month ago, but couldn't verbalize it. But I recalled from working on our film "Rockin' the Wall" about Rock Music and the Berlin Wall, the same thing happened.

10) One day East German guards were shooting anyone who took a hammer to the wall-The next day? Nothing.
11) As Reyonlds explains, it's not that people didn't notice what was happening---the woke crap, the cancel culture, the rioting, the illegal invaders, the constant money to Ukraine. Noticing isn't enough.
12) Soviet citizens knew what was going on a decade before the USSR imploded. Two common sayings told everything: "We pretend to work and they pretend to pay us." and, "There is no Truth (Pravda) in the News (Izvestia) and no News in the Truth."
13) But, as to a lesser degree here, the system---the mass propaganda Hoax News industry, the celebrities, the perpetual DemoKKKrat lies kept people isolated, often unaware of any different views by a MAJORITY of others.
14) I said at the time that it was important for Trump to win the popular vote. I would have preferred 10 points, but even 1.5% is perfect for there could be NO claim that Trump "snuck in" due to the Electoral College. The PV was important to shatter the propaganda veil.
15) Totalitarians call this "preference falsification," the notion that "no one believes what you believe." They only partially succeeded with this with the China Virus vax, but ultimately sizeable minorities resisted this "preference falsification" no matter how many . . .
15) contd . . . politicians & celebs took the vax or how many doctors and businesses went along with the maskies. They were only successful in closely confined areas where tyrants had total institutional control (airplanes/schools) or where the institutions themselves enforced.
16) Come election time, though, the preference falsification structures began to fail. First, Trump held RALLIES: his supporters could see, weekly, that "Gee, there are an awful lot of people out there like me."

17) A key breakthrough though came when @ElonMusk got Twitter.
@elonmusk 18) By restoring a MAJOR---if not "the MAJOR"---social media site to true democratic discussion, suddenly it became obvious to over half the country that "Gee, there are an awful lot of other people like me," including doctors, professors, and celebrities.
@elonmusk 19) Nor could Musk be blown off as a kook. Right. A kook who has the best shot in human history of putting someone on Mars.

20) RFK, Jr. played a key role also in bringing one stream of leftism into MAGA. Suddenly there were "those people who think like me too!"
@elonmusk 21) As Reynolds notes, what happened next was a "preference cascade," where a majority's preferences suddenly could not be suppressed by Hoax News, Hoaxified Entertainment, or regulation. Americans NEVER bought into the woke bullying or canceling but they had few weapons.
@elonmusk 22) But when you reach a cultural, political, economic and social breakpoint, the authorities can no longer isolate and bat down the moles: the moles are everywhere, and not nearly enough hammers to whack them.
@elonmusk 23) People can cite the "I am Spartacus" outcome, but there's a big difference: the majority of Romans weren't there to stand up with ol Spart.

It's been said many times but true: if dozens of shoppers went into grocery stores without masks, the policy would have ended then.
@elonmusk 24) Once again, the Hoax Pollsters kept saying Trump would lose (once they recovered from the reality of where the race really was with Rutabaga). Once again they were wrong, but unlike 2016 Trump now had the popular vote--and Elon--to prove it.
@elonmusk 25) As Reynolds wrote: "When Trump won, it was not only obvious that he had won, but that the people who told us that he was a marginal figure in American politics had been lying."
@elonmusk 26) Not only did people realize/accept that the Hoax News and Hoax Pollsters had lied about 2024, but that they almost certainly had been lying about Trump since 2015.

27) That's where the cascade came into play.
@elonmusk 28) And as Reynolds concludes, "Preference falsification is undemocratic, and it makes a nation stupid." And if you don't believe that, read the countless libtards I have been posting in my own substack and "Today's News." THEY STILL DON'T GET IT.
@elonmusk 29) Like the Russian members of the CCCP, who are still waiting for a return to Leninism, the leftoid analpedestals are still insisting that Cackles ran a "moderate/centrist campaign."
@elonmusk 30) Some of the smarter ones, such as Ruy Teixeira, know that woke is poison and that the progs will kill the party, but still believe they can be good DemoKKKrats and sip that poison chalice every night. Nope. The DemoKKKrats must be destroyed.
@elonmusk 31) And that's as important for the "good" DemoKKrats as it is for Republicans, for so long as any of the Botoxic/Rutabaga/AOC/Newsome/Witless Protection Stalinists still even have a single delegate's worth of influence, they are SCREWED.
@elonmusk 32) Because, you see, the "preference cascade" has already happened, people are really and truly woke now, and the toothpaste ain't goin' back in the Prog tube.

1) Four years ago I wrote that "The Suicide of the House Is Complete," mostly due to the inability of EITHER party to pass basic budget bills, but also the stupid Botoxic-led meaningless impeachments.news.gallup.com/poll/697421/tr…
2) Now here is Gallup, which says that trust in the executive has GROWN from the 1970s from 75% to 87%. Yes, part of this is "partisanship." We saw that with the useless Senate in the SpewMore Shutdown.

3) But both houses seem totally incompetent & incapable of doing their jobs.
4) DemoKKKrats aren't gonna like this at all. Basically, their source of "opposition" ---Congress---has shot off both feet. Thus when J.D. Vance runs, he will increasingly be viewed more favorably.

5) What can DemoKKKrats do?

1) So, all you Wiles haters out there, get over it.

2) The very first thing you should notice is that the Trump admin LEAKS LESS THAN ANY ADMIN IN HISTORY.

3) This is 100% Wiles.

4) Trump, therefore, ALWAYS has the upper hand because his opponents, vs past, . . .
4) contd . . . never know what he's going to do. In the past, whether Reagan or Bush, leakers would ensure that the DemoKKKrat bacteria-dippers would have well-advanced warning for new actions/issues/agenda items and would organize a FULL resistance before it came out.
5) All thanks to leaks. Think of 2005 when W sought to BEGIN to fix SS by privatizing just 2% of a person's SS funds. Word leaked before he could even roll out the program. It was dead before it started.

6) Today? We had THREE different stories in three days about what . . .

1) As I have been saying for over a year, the age of AI and data centers is upon us. David Blackmon's column today shows that data centers are about to surpass office center construction.

2) Our side is missing the ball entirely focusing on ChiCom students, which is a temp placeholder to prevent Chy-na from immediately embargoing rare earth minerals to us. This is a sop, an "inducement" while our own mines and alliances ramp up to produce/mine REMs.
3) Likewise, for Reagan, inflation with a HIGHLY COMPLIANT fed took 1 year to tame. It's come down by about a point and a half, but needs to come down by four more points. Slowly, the Fed is helping, but not like Volcker did with Reagan. It will eventually drop a lot, UNLESS . .

1) I am not one of those, "Oh, don't worry. This is nothing." I wouldn't have said that even if we had won NJ (never stood a chance in VA).

2) Instead, I think this proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that voter reg majorities are necessary, though not always sufficient, to win.
3) Right now, everyone from Richard Baris to Steve Bannon agree that the focus must be on the economy to take away what is now the DemoKKKrats' only weapon. Trump knows this. Getting prices down is key.

4) Some of that is facilitated by tariff revenues and reducing the debt.
5) That, in turn, requires the Supes to do their job.

6) Despite oral arguments, Zen Master remains committed to his prediction that Trump will win the tariff case with the Supes.

1) As expected, in blue states where you have large blue voter registration majorities, DemoKKKrats win.

2) I thought NJ would be a little closer, but called both NY and VA (as any idiot could). @RealSKeshel has a historical/analytical column on this.

captaink.us/p/an-election-…
@RealSKeshel 3) Specifically in VA, where DemoKKKrats had a voter reg lead of more than 5 points (hard to tell precisely because they don't register by party, but we know that Ds have a big reg lead there), you cannot in any way distance from Trump as an R and hope to win.
4) If anything, last night's results reaffirm how critically important it is for people like @ScottPresler to go back to PA and to nail down that final flip.

5) Turnout, esp. in NYC, was a record. And some of you think they won't run Amazing Zohran for pres?

1) I don't have "pwoof" as Lanny Davis used to say, but it seems pretty obvious that much of the supposed "infighting" & "backbiting" on X is an op by DemoKKKrats.

2) I think they KNOW they are losing and losing huge. This is the equivalent of the Germans . . .
2) contd . . . at the Battle of the Bulge sending in English-speaking German soldiers in US uniforms or civilian clothes to confuse, obstruct, and assassinate.

3) I think it is a symptom of a party that is losing huge, not a majority that is "coming apart."
4) But while that's some speculation, this isn't:
President Trump/MAGA lost almost no support whatsoever by bombing Iran (which everyone now admits made the whole peace deal possible). He has lost no support over the Epstein files. (Virtually no one cares about that now).
