switched from using vscode for 5y to neovim and the difference in how it feels, productivity, etc, is insane

i wouldn't say the productivity boost is a raw one. its not because i am literally operating faster because of the time savings of keeping your hand on the keyboard and the efficient key binds.

but instead it feels a lot better to code for long hours
there is a lot less micro-friction when doing things like moving around a code base, searching etc. its hard to explain because its not like there aren't good ways to do this in vscode
