People are contacting me asking if I knew Shabir Ahmed, the ringleader of the Rochdale Grooming Gang, was employed by @OldhamCouncil. The answer is yes I did know. I was the one that released the information. I also released how he was a member of @uklabour and a senior figure in the Pakistani Labour politics of the town.
As well as working for the Council, I shared information that through his role he had access to children in his job as a welfare officer on secondment to the Council funded Pakistani Community Centre. My sources confirmed he booked appointments for his clients to rape trafficked children from behind his desk. Daddy was also a senior figure in the town and sat on the prestigious board of the Citizens Advice Bureau.
When eventually arrested, my information is that he was provided with a reference from the Mayor's office of Oldham Council. When confronted, the Mayor at the time, the Labour Councillor, ABDUL JABBAR was forced to issue a statement claiming he could not recall whether he had provided a reference. What Cllr JABBAR, and other prominent Pakistani Muslim councillors on Oldham Council omit, is just what was their exact relationship with Daddy?
