Basic structure theory is nothing less than scandal !

There’s no such ratio as touted. ‘Basic Structure’ was view of only one judge (Khanna) out of 13. Chief Justice Sikri made 9 judges sign a summary called ‘A view of the majority’ which broadly wrote judgements saying there should be limitations on amendments powers of parliament. Their reasonings and terminology used was entirely different. Just because CJ Sikri was retiring next day people signed that document in deference of his wishes. They did not have even a chance to look at other peoples judgements or never had a debate on that. There is absolutely no common ratio.

It’s a mockery of a judgement and absolute abdication of judicial duty.
