There are some interesting things I've noticed in this clip.
Short thread.
In the opening question, she's asked if she has to go about her daily life differently since Elons comments.
She answers "yes" while shaking her head to indicate no.
Later on in the interview, she nods affirmative while saying yes.
She starts the interview talking about how she's used to people trying to silence her because she's a woman.
Then VD says, "Since he started posting about you, are you having to go about your daily life differently?"
This is important because they are creating a narrative...
It sounds like they are having a conversation about domestic violence, and "he" is an abusive partner.
It's very personal and emotive, yet Elon Musk is talking about her in her role in the government, not as an individual.
The language/tone doesn't fit the situation.
The whole interview looks like an attempt to lay the groundwork for banning X on the basis that JP has had her safety threatened, and it's affected her day to day life
The government would need actual evidence that X was unsafe and that this interview could form the basis for it
I can't get a premium sub as I have one for a project I'm working on, and I can't have two on the same card.
So forgive me for tagging people, but if you agree with my perspective, then please share.
@0xAlaric @KingBobIIV @10MarXmen @_VanDeRante @BlondeCockney @Tinabobagain @elonmusk, just a heads up.
Another interesting point is that VD very slowly and very deliberately says (to the effect of) "just to make it absolutely clear that because of Elon Musks tweets you've been put in danger and things have had to be put in place to protect you."
1/
VD isn't saying this to JP.
JP knows what's happening.
It's almost like a bad police sting operation, and VD needs a clear and accurate confirmation of the taget before sending a SWAT team to raid a Colombian cartel drug factory.
