Jen just helped me to better understand the big gap between ideas and practical solutions.
The dream of better places is important, for sure, but it's just romanticism unless we can find "small groups of committed people" making change.

@nema_cio @JSpicerVet9 @BurkhartRj @ddrrnt @HaskellU @KUIndigenous @kunhm @VFWHQ @danieldurrant I like this Nema, but like others responding to my big ideas, I'm keen to see some practical possibilities.
The idea being 1%, how can we provide and grow a supportive community allowing folks to get their hands dirty making change?
TG / Discord groups are easy to set up?
@nema_cio @JSpicerVet9 @BurkhartRj @ddrrnt @HaskellU @KUIndigenous @kunhm @VFWHQ @danieldurrant In short, I'm saying can we consider a CTA here with Nema. For people who are serious about making change.
Maybe that's my drive not yours, @danieldurrant , and you already produce content on an extraordinary level, it's wonderful to see it.
Ctd.
@nema_cio @JSpicerVet9 @BurkhartRj @ddrrnt @HaskellU @KUIndigenous @kunhm @VFWHQ @danieldurrant But I think we need to attract and nurture project managers, people willing to roll their sleeves up and do the 99% needed to make the difference we need in the world.
I'd love to see a custom GPT bot for this, in conjunction with a TG / Discord space that allows folk growth.
@nema_cio @JSpicerVet9 @BurkhartRj @ddrrnt @HaskellU @KUIndigenous @kunhm @VFWHQ @danieldurrant And, indeed, I'm putting a proposal together for a small grant where that could become a thing supported by a wider group of interested and more talented investors.
It's a proposal not a given, but I'll report back here on progress.
I was fortunate to wake up this morning, and think quickly about #UnconditionalLove.
We may have had very little in life from others, or maybe it was more implicit than explicit.
But we can give ourselves #UnconditionalLove.
Ctd.
Among our many failures, there is still the journey we have taken, and the progress we made. And we must forgive ourselves for the things we could not do, recognising that we can't do everything, and that sometimes choices mean someone loses out. We can't help this.
Ctd.
So key words here are #Acceptance, #Forgiveness, #Journey. And always #Learning from our human mistakes.
Key words in the Serendipity prayer too. #Serendipity to #Accept. #Courage to #Change. #Wisdom to #Know.
Early morning immersion here seems a very positive idea!
@JSpicerVet9 @Atotsm2 @BurkhartRj @Dave_Wolf @danieldurrant Jennifer, my feeling is too build whatever you can build.
Integrating with any other tech business takes considerable effort, and an organisation that understands the work involved.
My feeling with Holochain is that would take a radical change of management style.
Ctd.
@JSpicerVet9 @Atotsm2 @BurkhartRj @Dave_Wolf @danieldurrant The key indicator for Holochain is to have truly open X Spaces where any and all questions are allowed without pre vetting, and an open project ledger where folk can vote for projects they think HC needs to work on, even where that includes collaborative effort.
Ctd.
@JSpicerVet9 @Atotsm2 @BurkhartRj @Dave_Wolf @danieldurrant But Holochain are miles away from that level of Decentralisation.
That's another key marker to look for in collaborators, how decentralised are they, and how dependent on one brilliant but usually isolated central figure.
1. **#DefineGoals:** What do you want to achieve on Twitter? 2. **#ScheduleBrowsing:** Limit your Twitter time to specific slots. 3. **#MuteUnfollow:** Silence distractions and noise.
Ctd.
4. **#EngageIntentionally:** Don't just scroll, interact meaningfully. 5. **#UseLists:** Organize accounts for better focus. 6. **Leverage Twitter Tools:** #SchedulePosts, explore #Spaces & #Communities.
Ctd.
7. **#BatchContent:** Create and post content efficiently. 8. **#TrackTime:** Identify and minimize time-wasting activities. 9. **#DigitalDetox:** Take regular breaks from Twitter. 10. **#ExperimentIterate:** Find what works best for you.
I think one reason I come to Twitter is like many other people. I see much wrong with the world and believe it needs fixing.
Twitter is good for expressing opinions, and for #connecting with folks. But it's not good for #collaborating, many people used Discord instead.
Ctd.
So the tactic here in Twitter has to be to find folk who want to collaborate on actual projects.
Is that really possible? To collaborate on Twitter and make an actual project?
I think it's a rare person who can do that.
Ctd.
The bittiness of Twitter tends to mean recourse to other platforms. It could be Google Docs, Notion, or a website. This can capture longer form documents, so folk get a much better idea of what is being discussed, and can decide if they want to join in.
Together with colleagues, we see daily #MemeBattles, and we might also say #MemeDances.
Which Memes do we #choose as partners, which do we want in our lives.
The #Scarcity meme drives the #Greed meme, creating #Suffering among the #HaveNots.
Ctd.
Instead, the #Sufficiency meme can drive a #Community meme. #Abundancy for all lifts the bottom layers.
Helping folk see this means thwarting the #Ignorance meme, through the #Education meme, again to prevent #Suffering.
Again, which memes do we #choose to dance with?
We can only #choose our meme dance partners if our eyes are open, if we avoided #ignorance, if we learned how to be with one another, and how to respect our different styles and manners.
This #learning is perhaps our greatest ignorance to overcome.
