SitRep - 12/01/25 - Russia destroyed a DPRK supplied SAM?

An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Did Russia destroy a DPRK supplied SAM, fierce fighting in Kursk and the Engels oil depot keeps burning.

As usual we start with Russian losses over the past 24 hours.
Overnight, Ukraine shot down and supressed lots of Shahed drones.
For the fifth day in a row, the oil depot in Engels is burning.
The strike has led to the destruction of 3 large fuel tanks, and allegedly damaged 6 more. The Engels oil depot is the main fuel storage for strategic aviation used to strike Ukraine with missiles, mainly lifted from Engels-2 airbase.
Ukraine hit another command center. This time from the 2nd Guards Combined Arms Army.
An ammo depot from the 810th Marine Brigade was struck.
At least 20 DPRK soldiers lined up after they were eliminated in the Kursk region. Likely they are prepared in order to retrieve them from the battlefield.

A Russian BM-21 Grad MLRS destroyed.
A big mechanized attack repelled by the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade.
Destruction of Russian equipment in the Pokrovsk direction.
Friendly fire. Russian forces likely destroyed a North Korean TOR-M2 duplicate SAM.
Footage emerged of the airstrike on a command center of Russia's 2nd Guards Combined Arms Army.
Lets continue with the general events. Switzerland said it is ready to host a Trump-Putin summit.
The Babushka Squad is still alive and kicking.
Poland does not have the intention to send peacekeeping forces to Ukraine.
Mike Walz, incoming national security adivser of President-elect Trump, stated that Ukraine has to lower the conscription age to 18.
The battle between Fico and Zelensky continues.
Meanwhile, Slovakia is strengthening ties with Russia after Ukraine halted gas transit of Russian gas through its territory.
The first footage of interrogations with DPRK soldiers, captured in the Kursk region.

A clarification on the situation near Uspenivka (border region Kursk/Sumy). It was never confirmed, but new geolocated footage shows Russians in newly controlled area's. Near Pogrebky, the AFU retook positions and ousted Russians back to the north of the village. Image

Pokrovsk direction.

East of Pokrovsk, Russians are attacking the Malinovska junction, trying to cut off the Pokrovsk-Kostiantynivka road. They haven't succeeded yet, but their intentions and attacks have increased the last few days. Vozdyvzhenka was taken under Russian control. Image

Kursk and border operations - Day #66 - Battles for Berdin are ongoing
