This part to me just raises the obvious question...
He questions why he isn't one of 'those bad guys', a sociopath š¤
Bad ideas with no widespread appeal.
Harry sounds like a child. Yes, kind at times but entitled and expected to be paid just for being 'him'.
No wonder he was so easily manipulated, and so difficult to 'manage' unless kept happy.
Knew this would happen.
Yes, strategy depends on what else needs 'protecting', including other public ventures.
Archetypes was someone else's idea.
And the expectation was that M would be able to call in famous friends.
š¬ Rumours of people declining to be involved.
Definitely felt like decades old feminist talking points ~ many people have said this.
Speaks for itself.
š„š¬ "In practice, they say, that manifested as āundermining.
Itās talking behind your back. Itās gnawing at your sense of self. Really, like, Mean Girls teenager.ā
The one-track 'desire for victimhood' narrative Valentine Low spoke of.
Funny how this 'source' then corrects and nullifies their own judgement because of Markles status.
ouch š¬ "could wind up engaging in revanchism with people so below her in status"
Frankly for many in the media there is still a determination to excuse her behaviour by blaming others.
(šš½ this type of narcissistic manipulation is exhausting)
Again, Harry the child.
Very emotionally immature, no understanding of consequence.
Harry the child.
Impression I'm getting is that he has no friends, and wants to be 'kept' while he occasionally cosplays a saviour price.
Everyone has said Oedipus.
And while he's clearly content with her managing him, it's not always the basis for a healthy 'love story'
š± "You don't" tell them no, the person who worked in the couples media projects said. "I left because I couldn't live with myself anymore"
Elaine (Lainey Gossip) pretty much saying they represent nothing really, so their cosplay 'tours' are pointless. With the exception of invictus.
Someone later in the piece justifies their use of titles and status, while claiming the loss of Markle is a loss to the commonwealth etc.
But thisšš½point is made clearly, and remains.
This Montecito local isn't impressed with them, called them entitled and disingenuous.
Lainey says the one of the biggest criticisms she hears is that they want to cherry pick fame.
Lainey saying American Riviera Orchard is giving her '2014 not 2024' š (also true)
š¬ Wonder what she'd say about the new version 'With Love M'
The irony of this is that ARO didn't even last a year, and it wasn't even launched before being rebranded.
Let alone the two years suggested herešš½
The divorce book.
'Markles team' had a conversation with a publishing house about a post-Harry book.
What word is missing from the last line?šš½
'After all: There was no divorce.'
'Metabolism for campaigns that she can move on from' is comical, given the 'campaigns' listedšš½
And comparing those examples to Catherine's work, given she is a 'non-lobbying non-political non-celebrity mother of three' is ridiculous.
But I'm guessing the author knows that.
Given heršš½changing persona went with a churn of personal and professional relationships, and many 'versions of reality',
this really highlights Markle's narcissism.
š¤·š»āāļø And the author knows it, suggesting Markle has as much conviction in her 'greatness' as a queen might have.
š surely Lainey is having a dig 'that's what they do, they bless you with their royalness'
And I agree, they want to be seen as people who are changing the world, but they don't know how to do it.
So they purchase the work of others.
They want to be seen as saviours.
Finishes with this.
š¤·š»āāļø My first read of the last line I thought it was suggesting Markle was oppressed etc.
But seems to be saying while Diana dared to shock, Markle walks back from being provocative in order to present a certain image.
Thing is, by constantly selling that certain image she's constantly rewriting previous versions and discarding unwanted goods (campaigns, ideas, relationships etc)

1. Reminder, Knauf did his job and spoke to HR about Markle's treatment of KP employees.
He then wrote an email to his boss, informing him of his concerns.
He also spoke about the treatment of employees during the Australia tour.
2. During this tour stories about an alleged assault emerged.
Most (not all) media stories were updated, changing 'Markle lost her temper with an assistant and a hot drink was thrown' to a 'hot drink was knocked over'.
Clearly there WAS an incident, and KP was protecting Markle
