🤷🏻‍♀️ My first read of the last line I thought it was suggesting Markle was oppressed etc.
But seems to be saying while Diana dared to shock, Markle walks back from being provocative in order to present a certain image.

Thing is, by constantly selling that certain image she's constantly rewriting previous versions and discarding unwanted goods (campaigns, ideas, relationships etc)
