Hindenburg is US based short seller, they carry out research on companies, they publish report and before publishing report, they take short position on shares of that company when share falls they make profit
They have targeted many companies

There is one rule in USA
If you have made bearish report with help of some other participant then you have to mention their name in your report and if you don't do this, its securities fraud under Sections 17(a) and 17(b) of Securities Act

Bloomberg claimed that many reports of Hindenburg were made with help of Anson Fund but they didn't mention their name
Since Anson Funds is registered with US SEC as an investment adviser, so this conduct further can be charged as fraud under Section 206 of the 1940 Act.

Take a look at the language. Anson Funds is clearly writing the reports. Hindenburg is merely the distribution outlet.
