Breaking — I am covering the trial of Portland Antifa's "Super Soldier" Isabel Rosa Araujo.
Araujo has been accused of violently assaulting a female victim during an Antifa direct action in March 2024.
He is being prosecuted by the Multnomah County District Attorneys Office🧵
Araujo, 39, of Portland, was captured on video launching an unprovoked macing attack on a female counter protester at a Portland park in March 2024.
Araujo has been charged with fourth-degree assault, harassment, and unlawful use of mace.
He has a security role within Rose City Antifa that includes identifying political targets to attack.
He wears a patch on his black bloc militant uniform that reads: "Antifa Super Soldier"
He is now in Court to defend his actions, and if found guilty, faces jail time.
Araujo was taken into custody over the attack in July 2024 after Portland Police officers identified him as the assault suspect while he was participating in a separate Antifa direct action to disrupt a Christian worship event.
Araujo has a lengthy history of violence and threats throughout his tenure with Rose City Antifa.
He identifies as transgender and was born under the name Philip Vincent Haskins-Delici.
Additionally, he has a serious infatuation with weapons.
Araujo has maintained his innocence in this case.
His defense team has created a strategy to portray him as a victim of "mistaken identity" because he had been concealing his identity behind black bloc attire when he allegedly assaulted the victim.
Prosecuting the case for the state of Oregon is Deputy District Attorney Noah Berg of the Multnomah County District Attorneys Office.
Presiding over the case is Judge Adrian Lee Brown.
There are no individuals in the gallery, including members of Antifa, to support Araujo at this time.
I am covering the trial for @TPostMillennial.

NEW: Oregon has been conducting mandatory trainings for state employees that forbid them from cooperating with ICE.
This comes just days after previously deported illegal migrant, Jesus Ascencio-Molina, nearly killed an 86-year-old grandpa in a stabbing attack in Oregon.
The trainings go over the state's sanctuary laws that prohibit local and state law enforcement agencies and government employees from sharing information about a suspect’s immigration status.
ICE told @TPostMillennial that its agency placed a detainer on Ascencio-Molina in 2018 after he was arrested on attempted murder charges, requesting to be notified if he were to be released from jail.
However, the state refused to honor the detainer due to its sanctuary laws and the illegal migrant was placed back out on the streets to reoffend.

Kenneth Christopher Martinez, 44, of Walla Walla, has been convicted of s-x crimes again women and children, including the r-pe of a 9-year-old infant.
He also has a history of stalking, kidnapping; and multiple women have protection orders against him.
Martinez continues to reoffend.
On November 2, 2024, Martinez was arrested by the Walla Walla County Sheriff's Office for returning to the home of a female victim who had a protection order against him.
He was booked into jail but was released two days later by Judge Hedine, according to jail records.
A concerned resident contacted The Post Millennial about the matter, claiming that Martinez, a registered level III sex offender, has repeatedly shown up at their residence in recent weeks — and has been stalking a new female victim.
Martinez has a lifelong criminal history and despite the convictions, Judge Hedine continues to release him from jail without bail🧵

Commissioner @BenforOregon said the attack could have been prevented had the state not implemented laws that harbor illegal immigrants accused of violent crimes.
"It's unfortunate that Oregon decides to protect criminal activity like this with its sanctuary state laws," said Commissioner West.
