SitRep - 25/01/25 & 26/01/25 - A combined SitRep!

An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Since we were unable to publish yesterday's SitRep this morning, we are combining it with tonight's.

Today we start with the events from 25/01. These are Russia's losses reported at that time.
Overnight, Russian drones were shot down.
National Guard unit OMEGA repelled a Russian attack in the Donetsk region.
Ukrainian Vampire SAM shot down a Russian cruise missile.
A significant group of Russians captured in the Kharkiv region.
Near Kupyansk, another Russian attack was repelled leading to the destruction of several Russian armoured vehicles.
A BUK-M3 air defense system destroyed.
Late evening, Ukrainian drones again visited the Ryazan Oil Refinery, leading to fires and explosions.
Lets continue with the general events. Rumours about military aid being cut off to Ukraine are untrue.
Ukraine wants to incentivize younger men to enlist.
Serbia once again being two-faced, not willing to impose sanctions on Russia.
Meanwhile, Fico showed his bad stance against Ukraine. Threatening, once again.
On the other hand, European politicians are tired of people such as Fico and Orban. Tusk from Poland made it clear: blocking sanctions against Russia will lead to consequences.
Meanwhile North Korea keeps sending military equipment to Russia.
Later that day, Fico gave an interview making very weird allegations based on literally nothing.
Sweden is preparing a new aid package for Ukraine.
Let's continue with the events of 26/01, starting with Russian losses over the past 24 hours.
Overnight, Russia launched Shahed drones of which most were shot down.
Yesterday evening, Russia was attacked by Ukrainian drones. Nasty debris again.
Ukraine's General Staff confirmed their strike on the Ryazan Oil Refinery for a second time and also hit a command post in the Kursk region.
A hidden Russian tank blown up.
Ukrainian southern forces destroyed a Krasukha EW-station.
Ukrainian marines captured Russians after luring them into their own trenches.
The General Staff confirmed they destroyed a kamikaze drone storage in the Oryol region.
Ukrainian special forces captured a group of Russians in Toretsk. Battles for the city still haven't ended and Ukraine is still present in some places.
Lets continue with the general events. The Independent writes about four scenarios for ending the war in Ukraine
Lukashenko creating the fable that Poland is willing to invade Ukraine and Belarus.
While military deliveries continue, the USAID programme for Ukraine has been halted.
Zelensky made changes to the leadership of the Khortytsia group of forces.
Rare footage of a German supplied Bergepanzer-2 with Kontakt-1 ERA.

Toretsk

The battle for Toretsk still hasn't been concluded as Russia faces issues to take control of the remaining places under Ukrainian control. Russia is advancing inside Krymske, but is stalled north of Toretsk. Image
Kurakhove direction

Northwest of Kurakhove, Russia has been geolocated inside Shevchenko and is moving towards Andriivka. Although Russian advances really have also stalled. In the last week alone, only minor gains were made. Image
Luhansk direction

In the direction of Lyman-Borova, Russians did made significant gains. Although the towns of Nadia and Serhiivka might have been under RU control for a while, it is now confirmed as Russia has also entered both Novoiehorivka and Tverdokhlibove-Novoiehorivka. Image
