Wonderful reflection on Oneness at the Mahakumbh 🇮🇳!
The Kumbh in Prayagraj is a great spiritual event with the dip in the Ganga center stage. Its a huge festival celebrating life itself. But it is also an arena for reflection.
I was honored to take part in the Advaita for Environment dialogue.
We discussed and celebrated Adi Shankaracharya, a wise man from the 8th century who conquered India not by sword, but by word. Leaving home in Kerala as a child he joined his guru in Omkareshwar, Madhya Pradesh. From there he walked across India three times - from south to north, east to west - debating and teaching.
His idea of ONENESS is a wonderfull light also today. We humans are not seperated from each other, nor from nature. Humans are ONE and humans and nature is ONE.
This old idea now look so modern. Thank you Adi Shankara!
