USAID has been unaccountable to taxpayers for decades — funneling money to ridiculous (and in many cases, malicious) pet projects of entrenched bureaucrats with zero oversight.
🧵 Here are only a few examples of the WASTE and ABUSE:
— $1.5 million to “advance diversity equity and inclusion in Serbia's workplaces and business communities”
— $70,000 for production of a "DEI musical" in Ireland
— Hundreds of thousands of dollars for a non-profit linked to designated terrorist organizations (even AFTER an inspector general launched an investigation) washingtonexaminer.com/policy/foreign…
— Hundreds of millions of dollars to fund “irrigation canals, farming equipment, and even fertilizer used to support the unprecedented poppy cultivation and heroin production in Afghanistan,” benefiting the Taliban breitbart.com/national-secur…
The list literally goes on and on — and it has all been happening for decades.
Under President Trump, the waste, fraud, and abuse ENDS NOW.

President Trump knows what he’s doing — and this story from The New York Times is proof.
🧵 THREAD:
After President Trump threatened tariffs on Mexico unless they acted to stop the flow of fentanyl into the U.S., Mexico immediately “went on the offensive.”
“The country’s law enforcement seized nearly as much fentanyl in the last five months as it did in the previous year.”
Last week, Mexico extradited 29 cartel bosses to the U.S. to face justice — including a drug lord accused of killing a DEA agent.
President Trump’s address last night was widely acclaimed as among his best — in which he touted his accomplishments after just six weeks and laid out his vision for four years of peace, strength, and prosperity.
This morning, it was the focus of newspapers across America:
NEW: Excerpts from President Donald J. Trump's joint address to Congress.
THREAD:
Six weeks ago, I stood beneath the dome of this Capitol and proclaimed the dawn of the Golden Age of America. From that moment on, it has been nothing but swift and unrelenting action to usher in the greatest and most successful era in the history of our country. We have accomplished more in 43 days than most administrations accomplish in 4 years or 8 years—and we are JUST GETTING STARTED. I return to this chamber tonight to report that America’s MOMENTUM is back. Our SPIRIT is back. Our PRIDE is back. Our CONFIDENCE is back. And the American Dream is surging—bigger and better than ever before. The American Dream is UNSTOPPABLE, and our country is on the verge of a comeback the likes of which the world has never witnessed, and perhaps will never witness again.
Now, for the first time in modern history, more Americans believe that our country is headed in the RIGHT direction than the WRONG direction—an astonishing record 27-point swing since Election Day alone. Likewise, small business optimism saw its single largest one-month gain ever recorded—a 41-point jump. Over the past 6 weeks, I have signed nearly 100 Executive Orders and taken more than 400 Executive Actions to restore COMMON SENSE, safety, optimism, and wealth all across our wonderful land. The People elected me to do the job, and I am doing it. In fact, it has been stated by many that the first month of our presidency is the most successful in the history of our nation.
Two years ago, Border Patrol encountered 1,500 illegal immigrants every day in the El Paso sector alone.
Now, they’re seeing ~80/day — and organizations that once facilitated the invasion of illegal immigrants are finding out that sheltering them is no longer necessary.
🧵
Catholic Charities says they see only “zero to three families” at their McAllen, Texas, shelter and cut staff in Dallas due to the lack of need.
A Brownsville, Texas, facility shut its doors due to the “sudden decrease in asylum seekers” over the past month.
America will NO LONGER tolerate unfair trade practices. We are one of the most open economies in the world, yet our trading partners keep their markets closed to our exports.
The examples are endless.
🧵 THREAD:
The U.S. tariff on ethanol is a mere 2.5%, but Brazil charges the U.S. ethanol exports a tariff of 18%.
As a result, in 2024, the U.S. imported over $200 million in ethanol from Brazil — while the U.S. exported only $52 million in ethanol to Brazil.
The U.S. average applied Most Favored Nation (MFN) tariff on agricultural goods is 5%, but India’s average applied MFN tariff is 39%.
India also charges a 100% tariff on U.S. motorcycles, while we only charge a 2.4% tariff on Indian motorcycles.
