These videos not only provided visual evidence of a plane in distress but also included coordinates on MH370's flight path that had not yet been made public.
Despite their potential to shed light on the plane's fate, they were initially dismissed as fabrications and not taken seriously—until a decade later when new evidence corroborated their authenticity. Here's what we now understand:
Drone Video: An MQ-1C Gray Eagle drone equipped with advanced thermal imaging capabilities, was presumably used to capture the drone footage.
Satellite Video: This video was taken by the USA-229 satellite. A part of the Space-Based Infrared System (SBIRS) which was DIRECTLY OVERHEAD at the time of the event. This satellite is known for its capabilities in monitoring infrared signatures from space, providing high-resolution 3D stereoscopic imagery.
The videos are synchronized, showing different angles of the same event, with mouse movements from a Citrix session visible in the satellite video.
