SitRep - 15/02/25 - Munich Security Conference day #2

An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The second day in Munich with again lots of statements. Will negotiations start next week? Not for the Ukrainian delegation.

As usual we start with Russian losses over the past 24 hours.
At night, lots of Shahed drones were once again shot down.
Ukrainian aviation struck a Russian ammo depot overnight.
Ukrainian UAV's were also active. An oil refinery in Volgograd and several other regions were attacked.
A full Orlan-10 package destroyed, including the operators.
Also a Molniya operating team was found, and destroyed.
Several IFVs taken out in the Kursk region.
Lets continue with the general events. Europe is already preparing to deploy troops to Ukraine in case needed.
Hungary blocked the first negotiation cluster for Ukraine's entry in the EU. Again claiming Ukraine does bad things to minorities.
During his speech in Munich, Zelensky made it clear that now is the time to create a European army.
Ukraine's defense industry signed an important deal with Thales.
Merz again confirmed he is willing to supply Taurus to Ukraine, but -after consulting with partners-.
From 24 hours, to very soon, to soon, to 180 days.
Ukraine has rejected the US proposal for a mineral deal.
The US reportedly wanted to lay claim to 50% (!) of Ukraine's rare minerals.
Zelensky also met with Rheinmetall CEO Papperger.
EU-leaders will convene next Monday to speak about challenges with Trump.
Ukraine still does not believe Putin wants real peace.
A call would have taken place between the US and Russia.
Politico writes that next week, peace talks will start in Saudi Arabia.
Fox News claims that Ukraine was never informed about Trump-Putin talks in Saudi Arabia. They said that they will not send negotiators.
