There are two major technical releases in 2025:

Our Product Release is coming soon.
We will ship the IP Portal, the home page of Story that allows users to register IP seamlessly and browse IP registered across any app on Story.
We will also ship our Attestation Service, a decentralized oracle network that brings IP validation signals (identity of the creator, infringement detection, etc) onchain.

Later, Q3 will bring a comprehensive network upgrade.
The L1 will be enhanced across three dimensions:
• Performance: Faster transactions, higher throughput, more validators
• Product: IPKit Frontend SDK, large-file storage, etc
• Governance: Decentralized, transparent, and frictionless upgrades

In addition to upcoming releases, our engineering team is researching topics including next-gen consensus, on-chain storage at scale, AI execution layers, and confidential IP transactions.
Some of these will be executed via our partnership with Stanford FDCI.

We believe a roadmap should be more than a list of updates. It should be a living document and a vision shaped by the people who use the network.
