I spoke to a young Afghan man outside RAF Wethersfield asylum accommodation today. I asked how much he paid to cross the Channel.
He said he didn’t. He said his “friend” did - but he doesn’t know how much or to who.
Basically, he or his fake friend didn’t pay a penny.
So who did?
And how are thousands and thousands of young men from war torn countries, poor as hell, ALL scrambling two, three, four, five thousand pounds to pay smuggling gangs?
I simply don’t believe it. This is industrial - and someone, not the migrants, is paying for it.
