Here are some Syrian Druze. They demonstrated against Israeli intervention & occupation all weekend. ⬇️
The Druze who Israeli officials are threatening to attack Syria to "protect"...
TWO Assadist militants who carried out a terrorist attack in Jaramana, which is a Sunni majority subburb of Damascus (not a Druze village, as Israeli sources said). Those TWO violent terrorist thugs ambushed Syrian security forces without provocation, killing one & taking another hostage.
That created a stand-off for a little while. Fortunately the gov has continued to respond to crisis in a calm rational manner, and they met w/ some Druze leaders (whom they've been in regular contact with), and those leaders negotiated the hostage's release.
But, unfortunately, the TWO terrorists were also supposed to surrender themselves, but they refused to do so. These men are violent murderous terrorists, and they do not enjoy the support of the Druze community. They're Assadists who simply want to ignite conflict & chaos.
And its those terrorist thugs who Israel supposedly needs to invade & attack Syria to protect..!?!?!
Israeli keadership are absolutely insanely hypocritcal & deranged.
Syrian Druze want Israel TO BACK THE FUCK OFF.
If you want to "protect" some murderous terrorist Assadists then you can invite them to go live in Israel. THAT would be the rational & logistically sound approach, since only a select few want anything to do w/ Iarael... And everyone else in Syria is busy dealing w/ far more important matters. Israel's meddling is creating additional problems, nothing more.

A few years ago I began researching human rights abuses & war crimes committed by 🇷🇺 Russia's military in conflicts/wars they've fought in. In doing so I read every report issued by the UN & human rights orgs pertaining to the Chechen wars.
I wanna share some of those w/ you🧵⬇️
Putin oversaw the 2nd Chechen War.
Here are some reports & articles issued by HRW re: that war...
• Russia/Chechnya: Civilian Killings in Staropromyslovski District of Grozny (Feb. 1, 2000) hrw.org/report/2000/02…
🇷🇺 soldiers summarily executed at least 38 civilians in the Staropromyslovski district of Grozny, between late Dec. & mid-Jan, according to testimony taken by HRW. Most victims were women & elderly men, & all appear to have been deliberately shot by 🇷🇺 soldiers at close range...
I've been doing some research on the true/initial cause of the conflict in Ukraine — not NATO, the EU Association Agreement that Yanukovych was supposed to sign in Nov2013, but at the last min backed out of doing, triggering the Maiden protests.
I think it needs more attention!
What I learned, a 🧵...
Throughout 2013 there were reports & news stories (including quotes frm Kremlin officials & Putin himself) about Russia's VEHEMENT opposition to Ukraine signing the agreement.
Not only did 🇷🇺 make their position clear, they also explicitly threatened 🇺🇦...
