First, Sacks' company @craft_ventures has been invested in a startup called @BitwiseInvest since at least 2017.
David Sacks is listed as the primary investor.
Right now, @BitwiseInvest is celebrating because the main crypto coins going into the Crypto Strategic Reserve fund **just so happen to match Bitwise's top 5 crypto holdings.**
These coins are all pumping like crazy on this strategic reserve announcement, which means @BitwiseInvest and it's investors - like David Sacks - are making a ton of money right now.
So it begs the question - how much input did @davidsacks47 have on which tokens are going into the strategic reserve?
Did Sacks let his portfolio company @BitwiseInvest know this announcement is coming?
How much is Sacks profiting from this massive pump in token prices?
It'd be great to be able to determine this, or have confidence that Sacks' personal investment choices weren't influencing government policy.
But as Crypto Czar, he's considered a "Special Government Employee" and doesn't have to disclose or divest anything.
Congress must investigate and determine if David Sacks or Donald Trump's personal investment holdings are driving US crypto policy.
If @davidsacks47 and his allies think he doesn’t have a financial conflict of interest here, I dare him to go through the OGE disclosure process and prove it.
