🧵 Why UK Troops Aren’t Ready for a War, Why a Ukraine Operation Could be Disaster, & Fixing This Mess ➡️

1/ 💥 Our military’s a hollowed-out relic. Cuts & cock-ups have crippled us. Boots in 🇺🇦 isn't guts—it’s a potential disaster incoming. 🚨 Here’s why + how to fix things: 🪖
2/ Our army’s size is down to 70,000—unsafely low. And actively deployable? I hear less than HALF of that. Fewer tanks than Poland, kit that’s rusting away. 📉 Decades of budget hacks did this, and no one’s owning it. Total shambles. 😡💢
3/ Ukraine? Starmer’s peacocking about “peacekeeping.” 🦚 Mate, you can’t stop the Channel boats—Russia’s 1.5 million troops would present a mildly larger challenge until a ceasefire is active and clearly defined. Absolute madness. ⚠️👎 We need pragmatic realism.
4/ Our gear’s a joke. Ajax vehicles: cost £4bn, still broken after 10 years. Bowman radios? 1970's style trash. 🎙️💨 Procurement’s a circus—fat cats cash in, actual soldiers get nada... 🤡 Fix our capabilities, make us strong 💰
5/ Defence cash? 2.3% of GDP—weak. 2.5% by 2030? Too late, Putin’s giggling. We needed 3% (and frankly much higher) YESTERDAY. 💸⏳ No more dithering! Increase budget at home, no more international loans 🕰️
6/ Ukraine's front is a hellish grinder—600 km gone last year. Our “hollowed out” lot (that's the ex-Defence Secretary's words, not mine) would be posted for almost nothing without a ceasefire. 🤷‍♂️ Peacekeeping relies on the US—and Trump is wary of our weak capabilities. 🇺🇸✋
7/ The EU's gone nuts. Wild promises to Ukraine, splashing billions like it's
Monopoly money. 🇪🇺💶 They're not NATO, folks! NATO's guns and grit; EU's a fancy chequebook with no army. We're not their ATM, whatever Starmer thinks! 🏧🚫
8/ Home front? Another £3bn to Ukraine, HS2 / foreign aid is a black hole, yet our troops starve. 🤦‍♂️ The EU's overcommitment is dragging us down—NATO commitments & national defence spending are the first port of call, not Brussels' fantasies. Sort out our own house first! 🇬🇧🛠
9/ Fix it: Minimum of an additional 100,000 troops in 5 years—recruit an initial 30,000 pronto. Minimum 3% GDP on defence immediately. Procurement that works, not wows. ✨️ Stop the global handouts. Britain is priority No. 1! 💪🔥
10/ Russia's rattled sabres with NATO over a decade ago—yet still no prep. Fail to prepare, prepare to fail. The EU piles on promises it can't keep - they're not NATO's muscle. Trump nailed it—Europe's sponged off America too long. Wake up! 🧠💡 Retweet/share 🚀📲

🧵 UK100 - What Are Local Councils Really Up To? 🌐

1/ Let’s talk UK100. It’s a network of over 100 UK local authorities—councils including Shropshire & many others—pledged to hit Net Zero by 2050, ahead of the government’s timeline. Ambitious? Who gave them the green light? 👉
2/ Fact: UK100 launched in 2017 with a mission to get councils to 100% clean energy by 2050. They’ve got 105 members as of now, all voluntarily signed up. No referendum, no public vote—just council leaders deciding your future. Democratic?
3/ Their website brags about “cross-party support”—Lib Dems, Tories, Labour, the Uniparty are all in on it. When every party agrees, it’s not a debate; it’s a done deal. Since when do local councils get to lock in mega policies without asking the taxpayers footing the bill?

1/ 🚨 Britain’s rental housing crisis is imploding: 7,575 eviction claims in ONE month—from landlords crushed by Labour’s Renters’ Rights Bill. Meanwhile, MILLIONS of foreign nationals are flooding into the UK, turbocharging a housing shortage that’s already a nightmare.
2/ Labour’s piling on EPC rules (C rating by 2030) and banning no-fault evictions—evictions up 25% since they took over. Now add MILLIONS of migrants—years of insane arrivals (ONS says 6.6m more by 2036, 92% from immigration). Where do they live? Britain’s full!
3/ “Mass migration’s why I can’t buy a house,” is a common war-cry from GenZ, priced out of a future. Reform UK’s at 27% in polls because of an obvious equation: MILLIONS more people, ZERO extra homes. 515k homes needed yearly, HALF for migrants—and Labour’s building 300k max...

🚨 THE GREAT NET ZERO SCAM 🚨

Folks, they're pushing a green agenda that's not just about saving the planet—it's about picking your pockets clean.

Buckle up and read the whole of this one. It's vital.

Here's all you need to know🧵 ➡️
1/ 🔥 Drax Power Station Fiasco: One of the UK's biggest carbon emitters, masquerading as 'green'. Drax burns wood shipped from Canada / USA, yet it rakes in nearly £1 BILLION in green subsidies each year? In return, we get more carbon emissions than if they'd just burned coal!
2/ 💸 The Cost of Net Zero: You're being told we're going green, but at what cost? The UK's Net Zero agenda is set to drain £50 BILLION from your pockets every single year. And for what? To make us colder & poorer while the rich get richer on green subsidies?

🛃 The Real Solution to the UK's Immigration Crisis - Who's to Blame? 🧵

1/ The UK's immigration system is in chaos. It's time we call out the culprits. Tories were in power for over a decade, yet the crisis only deepened. Under Johnson, we got mismanagement & empty rhetoric.
2/ Let’s break it down: Illegal immigrants should face immediate deportation. This isn’t about being harsh; it's about maintaining the rule of law. The Tories failed to secure our borders, leaving us with a system that's both a mockery and a danger.
3/ Then there's the issue of non-integrated, non-citizens. The solution? Remigration. If someone isn’t contributing to our society or respecting our laws, they should return to their country of origin. Both Johnson's government and the rest of them talked big but did little.

🚨 The SERCO Monopoly You Need to Know About 🚨

1/ What is SERCO?
SERCO's a British multinational deeply embedded in government services. It's publicly traded on the London Stock Exchange, but there's a huge lack of public scrutiny & myriad failings. Let's take a closer look🤔
2/ A Monopoly on Borders?
SERCO doesn't just run our borders; they also house those who cross them. Yep - they manage both border control & migrant accommodation. In 2019, they secured a 10-year asylum support contract worth up to £1.9 billion. Too much power for one company? 🚫
3/ Shady Dealings?
SERCO has been embroiled in numerous controversies. From overcharging on electronic tagging contracts in the UK to human rights abuses in Australian detention centres, their record is, ahem, less than sparkling. How much scrutiny are they really under? 🕵️‍♂️

🏰 A Return to Britain: 100 Days to Undo Blair's Legacy 🏰

🧵 1/10:
Imagine Britain restored to its historical roots, unburdened by the modern inflation of Blairist statism. If Reform UK ascends, it could herald a return to our constitutional heritage.

Here's how:
2/10:
🔥 Day 1: The Great Repeal Act - A comprehensive bill to nullify all Blair-era laws that have compromised our sovereignty. This includes the Human Rights Act, which has often been used against British interests.

Oh. And exiting the ECHR, of course.

Now, where next?
3/10:
🗳️ Lords by Merit - Reform the House of Lords to a chamber of wisdom and experience, not political patronage. Our history deserves a noble house, not a political playground. Restoring the Law Lords and abolishing the Supreme Court will do away with a politicised judiciary.
