SitRep - 05/03/25 - Russia again attacked Odesa and Kryvyi Rih

An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. As part of Russia's peace plan, they struck energy infrastructure in Odesa and killed people in Kryvyi Rih.

As usual we start with Russian losses over the past 24 hours.
Overnight, Ukrainian air defense shot down 13 Shahed drones.
Russia used a massive amount of missiles and drones, of which most were luckily shot down.
The 28th Mechanized Brigade destroying Russian equipment.
The same goes for the 63rd Mechanized Brigade.
Toretsk sector. Azov 12th Brigade clears out a building full of Russians.
Lets continue with the general events. Overnight, Trump held a speech in Congress in which he said he received a letter from Zelensky. In reality he just referred to a public post on X from Zelensky.
The US banned the UK from sharing intel with Ukraine.
Lukashenko trying to present himself as a mediator, while he allowed Putin to invade Ukraine through his country.
Democratic senators opposed Trump's speech and his turn to Russia.
Congressman Al Greene is still persistent in his words: Trump needs to be impeached.
French people have lost all confidence in the US as an ally.
Federalists within the European Union want to strip Hungary from voting rights and create a European Army. Something Zelensky has been calling for as well.
The US wants Ukraine to bow, and Russia to live happily ever after.
Contrary to other reports, Zelensky Macron and Starmer will not jointly travel to the US to present a peace plan.
The first date and location have been presented for future peace talks between Russia and Ukraine.
The US has halted sharing intel, but only for strikes deep inside Russia.

Russia under Trump lives happily ever after.
A new loan under the Ukraine Facility is to be distributed soon, mainly used for energy reconstructions.
The Netherlands will invest more in domestic UAV production for Ukraine.
