🚨 NO FLY ZONE FOR UKRAINE ?! A group of European experts and elected representatives are proposing that we send 120 European and British jet fighters to the skies of Ukraine to protect civilians - and help bring peace : operation Sky Shield. Let me explain 👇

🤬 EVERY DAY, Russia hits maternities, hospitals, churches and schools. Without American support, these attacks will only increase and kill more innocents, forcing Ukraine to scatter it's defences to protect it's people.

🎯 Operation Sky Shield would achieve the following goals :

This is what an Integrated Air Protection Zone (IAPZ) would look like, with European and allied planes taking off from neighbouring countries, conducting patrols, intercepting drones & missiles.

This isn't "virtue signalling" : it's a game changer, and the first step into REALLY helping Ukraine.

❓ But wouldn't this cross Putin's "Red Lines" ? NO : during the Syrian Civil War, Turkey shot down several Russian aircraft, and Putin did NOTHING. And here, we are talking of DEFENSIVE operations. Putin ALWAYS backs down when faced with significant force.

❓ But are we strong enough ?

YES : 🇫🇷 & 🇬🇧 ALONE together fly 300+ combat aircraft, supported by Awacs and armed with the Meteor, the world's best long range missile. Together, 🇪🇺 + 🇬🇧 can fly 1300 combat aircraft - and the plan calls for LESS THAN 10% of that number (120)

⚛️ The plan also protects Ukrainian nuclear plants from Russian attack, a VITAL mission for the safety of the European continent.

Amongst the signatories, former Lithuanian foreign minister Gabrielius Landsbergis, French general Vincent Desportes and MEP Frédéric Petit and former British cabinet member Rory Stewart.
