New information about what USAID was spending your taxpayer dollars on. Get ready for a lot of buzz words and disgusting examples of wasteful spending:
$5,000,000 to “support the creation of a new mechanism to enable timely and strategic deployment of resources to local, grassroots gender justice organizations”
$2,100,000 to “assure the quality of services along the prevention-to-care continuum for men who have sex with men (MSM) and transgender individuals” in Rwanda
$2,400,000 “for more inclusive consideration of sexual orientation, gender identity, sexual characteristics in humanitarian assistance”
$1,999,990 “To negotiate an award to strengthen trans-led organizations to deliver gender-affirming health care, advocate for improved quality and access to services, and provide economic empowerment opportunities to the transgender community" in Guatemala
$900,000 for “The overall goal of 'Disability-Inclusive Disaster Action (DIDA)' Activity is to strengthen the inclusive system of managing and responding to climate change disasters on a central and local level with specific focus on the Persons with Disabilities (PWDs)” in Albania
$2,250,000 for “training on the implications of climate change” in Azerbaijan
$14,996,730 spent on “The media activity in Belarius”
$600,000 for "prevention, care, and treatment services to key populations (men having sex with men, transgender people, sex workers and their clients and sexual networks) at high-risk for HIV infection and people living with HIV in Nepal."
And this is just a handful of examples out of thousands. @DOGE lead the charge to get rid of USAID, and it’s proving to be one of the best things that’s happened to the American taxpayer in decades, while simultaneously being a huge blow to big government.
I call that a win.
