2- According to one of the survivors who works as a truck driver and speaks in the video at 2:18 - 2:35, the Assad remnants attacked the highway from the east and randomly began targeting civilian cars, killing his fellow truck driver who was transporting oranges in his truck.
3- According to statement from eyewitnesse and one of the survivors (2:59), the attack by the remnants of the Assad regime from the east was massive. There was a General Security patrol on top of the bridge (in green) that began engaging to suppress the fire targeting the road.
However, it appears the patrol didn't last long and had to withdraw under heavy fire.
4- It appears that the remnants of the Assad regime managed to seize control of the bridge and the road for several hours, targeting every vehicle passing through to turn it into a military zone and block the road to create chaos.
According to Hadi Al-Abdallah, the remnants of the Assad regime took position on the bridge and began sniping at passing cars.
5- Shortly after the bridge, specifically at (35°17'49.05"N - 35°57'36.22"E), there is a civilian car carrying unarmed civilians. Everyone inside was killed and thrown into a nearby river.
Among the dead was a 14-year-old teenager wearing women's shoes, indicating he was rushed out of the house. All the bodies were dressed in home pajamas.
