We honor Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru, whose fearless sacrifice on March 23, 1931, for India's freedom continues to inspire unwavering patriotism in every Indian heart.
Did Gandhi tried to save Bhagat Singh ? Read this thread 🧵
When Shaheed Bhagat Singh, at the young age of 23, was executed by the British, Mohandas Gandhi had the opportunity to intervene by rejecting the Irwin Pact with the Viceroy, potentially sparing the lives of the three youthful revolutionaries. However, Gandhi did not insist on including any clause to protect Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev from the gallows.
Rather than supporting their actions, Gandhi labeled them a "righteous form of violence." When the public grew outraged over the executions, the Congress scrambled to justify their stance, and Nehru was portrayed as compassionate. However, in truth, Nehru privately described Bhagat Singh's killing of Saunders as a "terrorist deed."
Shaheed Bhagat Singh, a legendary figure in India’s struggle for independence, had openly praised Nehru, but when the critical moment arrived to spare his life, both Gandhi and Nehru revealed their true selves by denouncing him. It was a heartbreaking betrayal of the heroic icon who embodied the spirit of “Rang de Basanti.”
Document from 1931 underlines Subhas Bose’s moving tribute in the wake of Bhagat Singh’s martyrdom, and Mahatma Gandhi evasiveness. In fact, rather than speak up as Bose did, Gandhi “pleaded fatigue and fever and did not put in an appearance”.
Mohandas Gandhi said "mad worship" of Bhagat Singh did "incalculable harm" to India.
Know your heroes, know them well.
Here’s how Mahatma Gandhi and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose reacted to the death of Bhagat Singh.

GEMS OF JAWAHARLAL NEHRU - DO READ without Missing Anything. It will surprise you.
Happy Birthday Jawaharlal Nehru Chacha
A ) NEHRU ON UNSC SEAT
1 ) On August 2 1955, Nehru in his letter to Chief Ministers clearly mentions there was indeed an informal offer from US for a UNSC seat. Nehru denied it because he didn't want to take the seat "because it would be unfair to a great country like China"
2 ) In August 1955, Nehru said-"We got informal offer of UNSC seat. I rejected it"
Within one month, by September 1955, Nehru made a complete U turn and said -"there has been no formal or informal offer of UNSC seat"
3 ) In a letter to Nehru dated 24th August 1950, Indian Ambassador to US and Nehru's sister Vijayalakshmi Pandit reveals that US State department made a proposal to India for UNSC seat. Those were the days of Cold War and US was looking at a potential ally in India
4 ) Nehru wrote a response to this letter on August 30 He unequivocally denied the offer. He said the UNSC seat would break "the impeccable relations between India and China". He further said "it would be an affront to China" and he would "press for China's admission in UNSC"
This letter can be accessed online. It is available on Page 237 of Jawaharlal's Nehru's "Letters to the Chief ministers Volume 4 (1947-1964)", Oxford university Press. Government of India 1988.
"Even if Muslims slaughter cows, Hindus should wholeheartedly support them. The support of Hindus for Muslim causes has to be unequivocal. Only then could Hindus hope to win Muslim hearts" - Jawaharlal Nehru ( Khilafat speech )
"It is duty of Hindus to support Muslims. It does not matter whether or not Muslims stop cow slaughter. This is Hinduism and it is duty of Hindus to act according to faith. Hindus should, out of love for Muslims, exert their best to help Muslims" - Nehru Khilafat speech

C ) NEHRU TRIED TO THROW AWAY RAM LALLA IDOLS
1 ) Nehru tried his best to destroy #RamMandir movement even before it began in Independent India. When Ram Lalla Murti appeared inside Babri in 1949, Nehru gave an order to throw away idols! But the district Magistrate KKK Nair was a devout Hindu & he refused to carry out orders
2 ) KKK Nair even threatened to resign if Nehru forced him to throw away Murti of Ram Lalla . By Shielding Hindu Sabha leaders, Mahants and allowing Hindu devotees to visit the idols in Babri, Nair played a major role in making this happen. This was his statement to Nehru: -
Most #Hindus remember about Azad Maidan riots by Xlims on 11th August 2012 to condemn the Rakhine Riots (between Rakhine Buddhists & Rohingya Muslims) in Myanmar. Amorcha was led by Raza Academy & later turned into riot.
But do #Hindus remember Kha Maung Seik massacre?
1. KhaMaung Seik is a place in Maungdaw District of Rakhine State in Myanmar, bordering Chattogram (Bangladesh).
2. On 25 August 2017, insurgents of the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) launched simultaneous attacks on 30 police outposts and one army camp in the Maungdaw District of Rakhine State in Myanmar. A few hours later during the evening, unidentified masked assailants attacked the Hindu village of Ye Baw Kya (also known as Riktapara) in the Maungdaw District.
3. ARSA killed up to 99 Hindu women, men and children and committed additional unlawful killings and abductions of Hindu villagers in August.
