🇺🇸 WORLD LEADERS RESPOND TO TRUMP’S NEW TRADE WAR — THREAD🧵

Trump’s aggressive new tariffs—hitting cars, steel, tech, and more—are sparking fierce global backlash.

With duties reaching as high as 50%, allies are furious, rivals are retaliating, and markets are rattled.

From China to India to Australia, here’s how world leaders are reacting—some are fighting back, others are pleading for diplomacy.

Let’s break it down country by country 👇Image
1. 🇨🇳 CHINA

Beijing’s Ministry of Commerce:

“We strongly oppose the U.S. tariffs.

If the U.S. insists, China will fight until the end.”

Trump is now threatening 104% tariffs on Chinese imports starting tonight—one of the largest escalations in modern trade history. Image
2. 🇪🇺 EUROPEAN UNION

Ursula von der Leyen:

“We have offered zero-for-zero tariffs for industrial goods.

We are also prepared to respond through countermeasures and defend our interests.”

Trump’s new tariffs on EU industrial goods reach up to 35%, with Brussels warning of retaliation if talks fail.
3. 🇨🇦 CANADA

PM Carney:

“We won't back down.

We will respond forcefully.

Nothing is off the table to defend our workers and our country.”

Trump’s 20% tariffs on Canadian metals and timber have triggered plans for targeted retaliatory measures.
4. 🇲🇽 MEXICO

President Claudia Sheinbaum:

“As much as possible, we would like to avoid imposing reciprocal tariffs.

We won't rule it out, but we prefer continuing with talks.”

Trump’s 25% auto tariff on Mexico has disrupted cross-border trade and supply chains. Image
5. 🇯🇵 JAPAN

PM Shigeru Ishiba:

“These tariffs are extremely disappointing.”

Trump has imposed a 25% tariff on Japanese autos and 24% on other goods, threatening to shave nearly 1% off Japan’s GDP. Image
6. 🇰🇷 SOUTH KOREA

Trade Minister Cheong Inkyo:

“We are reviewing proposals to reduce our trade surplus with the U.S.”

South Korea is offering to boost American LNG imports to avoid 22% tariffs Trump is threatening on Korean exports. Image
7. 🇮🇳 INDIA

India is bracing for fallout, with slower growth, inflation, and investor concern rising.

Trump’s 30% tariffs are in place, and India may hit back with 27% counter-tariffs if the situation worsens. Image
8. 🇧🇷 BRAZIL

Former President Jair Bolsonaro:

“Doubling down and escalating the crisis with our second largest trading partner is not a wise response.”

Trump’s new 18% tariffs on Brazilian goods have sparked debate, but Bolsonaro urges restraint and lower duties. Image
9. 🇦🇺 AUSTRALIA

PM Anthony Albanese:

“This decision is entirely unjustified.”

Trump’s 25% steel and aluminum tariffs hit Australian exports, but Canberra has ruled out retaliation to avoid harming domestic consumers. Image

🚨🧵1997 INTERVIEW RESURFACES: BILL GATES ON POPULATION CONTROL, SURVEILLANCE, AND HIS “COMMAND OF SOCIETIES’ RESOURCES”

Ask yourself: when someone tells you who they are, how long do you wait before you believe them?

George Magazine's February 1997 "Survival Guide to the Future" issue featured John F. Kennedy Jr. sitting down with Bill Gates.

Some of what Gates says is flat out chilling...👇Image
1/ ON POPULATION CONTROL

When asked about his philanthropy, Gates was remarkably blunt about his priorities:

"I fund education projects, I fund population control. I'm very big on the United Way."

No hesitation. No euphemism. Population control.Image
2/ ON USING TERRORISM TO JUSTIFY SURVEILLANCE

Four years before 9/11, Gates floated this:

"The U.S. is the ultimate we-believe-in-privacy country, so the government will probably never issue smart cards.

At the same time, attitudes can change.

If, for example, the U.S. went through a terrible period of terrorism, people might decide to draw the line about privacy a little differently."Image

THE WEAPONIZATION OF THE JUDICIARY ACROSS THE WORLD — A THREAD

Across the world, leaders and opposition figures alike are accusing those in power of using the courts as political weapons.

From Imran Khan in Pakistan to Trump in the U.S., from Brazil to Venezuela, the charge is the same: justice turned into a tool of politics.

Let’s break it down 👇🧵Image
1. 🇵🇰 IMRAN KHAN: FROM PRIME MINISTER TO POLITICAL PRISONER

Imran Khan, Pakistan’s former PM, has faced over 150 cases since his 2022 ouster. Charges range from corruption to “terrorism,” even an “un-Islamic” marriage, which alone earned him 7 years in jail.

After the 26th Amendment (Oct 2024), the govt gained the power to handpick judges. Since then, Khan’s fate has been sealed in closed-door trials, denied bail, and rushed convictions, all timed to crush PTI before the 2026 elections.

Now under General Asim Munir’s “Asim Law”, the crackdown has expanded to his entire family:

Imran Khan - imprisoned over 2 years.

Bushra Bibi (wife) - jailed nearly as long.

Sisters - dragged through fabricated cases.

Nephews - tried in military courts, abducted from homes and cars.

This is not justice. It’s collective punishment.

It's a warning from a decadent system: your family is fair game if you dissent.

Instead of breaking Khan, the state has turned him into a symbol of persecution, and his family into martyrs of a system that has weaponized the courts for political retribution.Image
2. 🇺🇸 TRUMP: THE LAWFARE CAMPAIGN TO DERAIL 2024

Across the ocean, America’s 45th and current president faced his own political trial by fire.

Trump has been hit with 70+ charges: business records, classified documents, and election interference. Every indictment timed to collide with his 2024 run.

A judiciary hijacked to stop MAGA at the ballot box.

New York conviction (May 2024): prosecutors used a novel, untested legal theory to secure a guilty verdict.

Documents case: tossed by the court for DOJ overreach, confirming how shaky the charges are.

Judges like Juan Merchan slapped Trump with gag orders while ignoring conflicts of interest.

It’s clear: the Biden DOJ and Democrat-aligned judges were waging a coordinated witch hunt.

For Biden’s team, it was “justice.”

But the effect is the same: America’s choice in 2024 was almost decided in courtrooms, not polling stations.Image

New photos from inside Jeffrey Epstein's 7-story Manhattan lair reveal exactly how he entertained the world's most powerful people while hiding cameras in his bedroom.

This gets so much worse...👇Image
THE PHOTO WALL OF POWER

Epstein's dining room credenza was a shrine to his connections. Framed photos showed him with:

🚨🇺🇸BREAKING: TRUMP ORDERS RELEASE OF EPSTEIN GRAND JURY RECORDS - HERE'S WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

🧵👇Image
Image
1/ THE BOMBSHELL ORDER

Trump just directed AG Pam Bondi to unseal ALL grand jury testimony from the Epstein case.

After months of empty promises, we're finally getting... something.

Bondi filed petitions Friday in Southern District of New York for BOTH Epstein's 2019 case AND Maxwell's 2020 indictment.

But here's the catch...Image
2/ WHY GRAND JURY RECORDS MATTER (AND WHY THEY'RE SEALED)

Grand juries hear evidence in SECRET before indictments.

No defense lawyers allowed. Lower standard than trials.

They're sealed to protect the innocent and get truthful testimony.

Breaking that seal requires a judge's approval - and good reason.

Rule 6(e) governs this. Violating it = contempt of court.Image
