India seems to be having a wave too. However no local data there.

From the very few GBW data, the most prevalent variant there is not anything known, but a very new undesignated recombinant of LF.7 and LS.2. It also starts to spread globally now.

There are 4 GBW samples from India sampled in May, one is LF.7.9.1, one is XFG, the other two both belong to this brand new undesignated recombinant that is diverse from any existing variants.
Hope there will be local data that gives us better picture of what's happening there.
