Nurses are organizing a protest against accountability for a fellow nurse who strangled all three of her children to death.
In this case, the neutered husband is actually joining in the chorus, as is The New Yorker—the husband even raked in a cool $1 million via GoFundMe.
These are the same people who think it's "inhumane" to deport migrants or refuse the vax.
This was a sickening crime.
The mother calculated how long her husband would be gone, and actually strangled the children with exercise bands, which would have taken several MINUTES each.
The New Yorker uses scare quotes in its navel-gazing analysis of whether or not a murderous woman who kills her brood is "mad" or "bad"—the implication is perhaps she's neither!.
Unsurprisingly, there is a spiritual angle here, as the mother claims she heard voices (demonic) telling her to strangle her kids.
It's plausible, but still raises the question of why she listened.
Her supporters actually organized a "Justice for Lindsay" fundraiser. To an ever growing segment of the population in the decaying West, justice is when a woman is entitled to escape accountability no matter the circumstances.
Apparently, murderous mothers should not face consequences because of the pernicious effects of "societal myths of motherhood."
“I wasn’t married to a monster—I was married to someone who got sick.”
[...]
"All that’s left is me and Lindsay.”
These caveats are LOL.
This is so sad.
This is also so sad and bizarre—she hinted to her husband that she'd like to be a stay-at-home mom, but he failed to pick up on the cues and even thought it was "healthy" for her to continue working, which he tragicomically calls "dual vocations."
This was truly a modern woman trying to "have it all" and putting immense pressure on herself.
The anxious, overworked mother thought she could continue "having it all" if she took dangerous psychiatric drugs, which some psychiatrists prescribed like it was candy—and for "generalized anxiety disorder."
Modern psychiatry in a nutshell—women are sadly more prone to falling for this pseudoscience.
The psychiatric drugs took ahold of the mother, and she stopped sleeping.
Uhhhh.
A hospital gave her Ambient, then a new psychiatrist prescribed the mother even more dangerous psychiatric drugs.
She and her husband just went along with it.
Trust the experts!
The mother was taking benzodiazepine and two antidepressants in the days leading up to the killings.
Her veteran defense attorney is an expert in the genre of "women escaping accountability."
Despite an army of psychiatrists, therapists, and hospital workers trying to help the mother, the defense attorney argues that "Our society completely abandons women."
A ringing endorsement of psychiatric drugs.
LMAO
At this point the demons had ahold of her.
The mother was sent to an inpatient psychiatric hospital but quickly talked her way out of there.
The solution? Yet another psychiatric drug.
Macabre.
The New Yorker is deeply disturbed that in the US, we punish mothers who murder their children instead of giving them a slap on the wrist.
Interesting.
The husband is still dreaming of a future with his wife, just like Rusty Yates, who fantasized this his wife could be treated with the "proper medication."
The husband's parents appear to have a healthier understanding of right and wrong.
Women are not responsible for anything, things just "happen."
Wild.
The husband seems to be coming to terms with things.
Insane.
Lmao. You can't make this stuff up.
"Trust the experts. Trust the science."
All in all a very sad story. I hope the husband and wife find peace, and that she faces justice.

Clement: Courts should not intrude into the prosecutorial function
Clement: The purpose of Rule 48 discretion is to protect the defendant from prosecutorial harassment, not TO HARASS the defendant like Judge Emmett Sullivan did to @GenFlynn
