McCarthy told Wallace that Trump didn't know what was going on at the Capitol until he called him but former Trump aid said Trump was watching on TV.

BUT in the video, which was posted hours later, Trump urged the rioters to "go home," adding: "𝐖𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮. 𝐘𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥."
