Faced with an explosive rise in antisemitism in Canada, the Trudeau government chose to monitor the Jewish community for extremism.

Even worse, they hired a foreign contractor to do their dirty work.

So let's take a look into this UK contractor...

🧵/1 nationalpost.com/opinion/ottawa…
The Institute for Strategic Dialogue is the UK contractor hired for the task of monitoring the Canadian Jewish community.

They are not a security organization, nor are they a traditional think tank. They are a political advocacy organization.

@ISDglobal @bnaibrithcanada Image
The ISD is an NGO funded in part by the Open Society Foundation.

What this indicates is not some ludicrous deep state conspiracy, but a worldview that is in alignment with the Open Society Foundation and other funding agencies.

/3 Image
The fundamental question is whether a Western democracy should be paying an advocacy group, with their own worldview, to monitor and report on their citizens.

The ISD has a prolific body of work as it relates to Canada.

Attached is one of their reports.

/4 Image
They published reports on the recent Canadian federal election and characterized criticism of our immigration system as extremism.

That would put Prime Minister Mark Carney into the category of extremism given his call for immigration reform.

/5 Image
Many of the ISD reports seem to be advocacy pieces for a particular worldview as opposed to counterterrorism work.

They also employ their own definition of extremism so as to justify their positions.

/6 Image
That leaves the current Liberal government with a question they must answer.

Is it reasonable and lawful for our government to employ a foreign advocacy group to monitor the Canadian Jewish community at a time of heightened antisemitism?

It doesn't seem like a wise choice. Image

I want you to listen very carefully to what Carney is saying about emissions caps.

He hides the truth in complexity. His answer is also filled with falsehoods. It's astonishing how brazen he is.

To spare you sifting through this, I've broken it down into clips.🧵

/1
Carney states that reducing emissions from production and distribution of oil and gas will increase their competitiveness.

That's simply not true.

97% of Canadian oil and gas is consumed by the U.S. which has no emissions based barrier to trade.

/2
Carney goes on to say that what's required is investment.

He talks about investment in carbon capture.

What he doesn't talk about is investment in pipelines, LNG exporting plants, or oil refineries.

His focus remains on reducing emissions, not increasing production.

What is the Eurasia Group, and how will it impact Canada's economic future?

Let's take a conspiracy theory free dive into the topic.🧵

/1 Image
The Eurasia Group is a highly respected consultancy that provides political risk assessment for the business world.

It's run by Ian Bremmer who broadcasts his ideas on GZERO World.
/2 Image
Eurasia has become the landing spot for Canadian Liberals including Gerald Butts who previously advised Trudeau and currently advises Mark Carney.

Evan Solomon, a former CBC reporter and current Carney candidate is also employed by the group.

The Trump Tariffs require a united Canadian front, but that doesn't mean falling in line behind Prime Minister Trudeau who recently announced his intention to resign.

It requires an election.

Let me explain.

nationalpost.com/opinion/terry-…
Canada is a resource economy accounting for 50% of our exports.

We're the world's Home Depot, providing lumber, steel, aluminum, oil, and gas to the globe.

Our main customer is the USA, but they didn't have to be our only customer. That's on Trudeau.
/2

fraserinstitute.org/commentary/nat…
In 2015, Trudeau set the tone for resource development in Canada by effectively killing Energy East through excessive regulation.

That project would have opened all of Europe to Canadian oil.

What is the World Economic Forum, and why is it relevant to Canadian politics?

Let's take a look beyond the conspiracies and focus on the policies of the WEF and how they have impacted Canadians.🧵

/1 Image
Image
The WEF was established by Klaus Schwab in 1971 to engage global leaders from business, politics, academia, and civil society to shape global, regional, and industry agendas.

It is essentially a left leaning think tank creating policy positions that have global impact.

/2 Image
People focus on the over 1,500 private jets flying into Davos every year for the annual WEF conference. But it is the 1,500 private jets flying out that are far more important.

The WEF is masterful at disseminating information across the globe.

Francesca Albanese has asked me for evidence of her hate speech.

Very well, let's break this down. 🧵

@FranceskAlbs @UofT

On October 27, 2020, the Government of Ontario adopted and recognized the IHRA Working Definition of Antisemitism.

Mrs. Albanese, as you are planning to give a talk at the University of Toronto, you are subject to Ontario laws.

Okay University of Toronto, let's talk about this...🧵

/1 Image
There are rules around protests at the University of Toronto.

These rules were revised after the encampment and gross acts of antisemitism that came with it.

The rules are listed in the link.

viceprovoststudents.utoronto.ca/student-polici…Image
"Using language in chants or recordings, on signs, or otherwise that demeans others based on their age, ancestry or race, ethnicity, place of origin, creed or faith... is not permitted."

Holding a protest on October 7th, a day when Jews were slaughtered, violates this rule.
