Hadith Thread: Mahdi of Persian Descent
Did the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa) foretell that the Mahdi would be from Persia?
Yes. A powerful prophecy in Sahih sources points directly to this truth.
#TrueIslam #Mahdi #Hadith
#MahdiHasAppeared
The Prophet (sa) said:
“Even if faith ascended to the Pleiades, a man from among the Persians would surely bring it back.”
— Sahih al-Bukhari, Musnad Ahmad, Tirmidhi

Arabic:
“لَوْ كَانَ الإِيمَانُ عِندَ الثُّرَيَّا لَنَالَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ فَارِسَ”
This Hadith refers to a spiritual revival when Islam would be in decline.
The Prophet (sa) specifies a man from Persia—rajulun min Faris—would restore lost faith.
This cannot refer to the Sahaba, who were already present.
It refers to a future divinely guided reformer.
Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as), the Promised Messiah and Mahdi, claimed fulfillment of this prophecy.
He was of Persian descent, born in India, from a family tracing its lineage to Persian ancestry (Farisī Nasab).
He wrote:
“It has been prophesied that the Promised Messiah will be of Persian descent… hence, this Hadith is a testimony from the Holy Prophet (sa) for my truthfulness.”
— Barahin-e-Ahmadiyya, Malfuzat, and others.
He also said:
“The one who was to come and bring back faith from the Pleiades is none other than me. I am that man from among the Persians.”
— Lecture Lahore, Nuzul-ul-Masih
This Hadith also aligns with others:
“Black banners will rise from the East… nothing will stop them until they reach Jerusalem.”
— Sunan Ibn Majah, 4082–4084
Persian lands lie east of Arabia — Khorasan includes parts of Iran, Afghanistan, etc.
No other claimant in history, whether Arab or non-Arab, has fulfilled:
•A divine claim
•Persian descent
•Spiritual revival
•Peaceful Messiah-like mission
•Restoration of faith in modern times
—all as clearly as Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as).
Neither Ahmed al-Hassan nor Abdullah Hashem are of Persian descent—disqualifying them from fulfilling the Hadith where the Prophet (sa) foretold that a man from Persia would revive the faith when it had risen to the Pleiades.
#TrueIslam #Mahdi #Hadith #AROPL
Ahmadi Muslims believe this Hadith is a living sign.
The revival of Islam in the latter days was foretold by the Prophet (sa) — and fulfilled by the Promised Messiah and Mahdi from the East, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as)

The Mahdi was prophesied by the Holy Prophet (sa) to come in the East, preach peace, reject worldly power, and be recognized by divine signs. That prophecy has already been fulfilled. False claimants come and go — truth endures. #TrueIslam #Ahmadiyya Image

The Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa) foretold the coming of the Mahdi:

“Even if faith ascended to the Pleiades, a man from Persia would bring it back.”
(Sahih Bukhari, Tafsir of Surah Jumu‘ah; also Mishkat al-Masabih)
The Mahdi would be of Persian descent — not Arab or American.
He also said the Mahdi would appear in the East:
“A voice will call out from the sky that the truth lies with the Mahdi and his followers.”
“When you see him, go to him—even if you have to crawl over ice.”(Ibn Majah) This sign was fulfilled in Qadian, India — not TikTok.

Federal court found Abdullah Hashem guilty of fraud, extortion & racketeering in a scheme to defame and exploit a religious group for profit. Court ordered return of stolen footage. Zero credibility. #AROPL #FraudExposed #FalseMessiah #MahdiHasAppeared Image

In 2008, a U.S. federal court exposed Abdullah Hashem—the man behind AROPL—as a fraudster who used Islam as a cover for blackmail, extortion, and defamation.
This isn’t Mahdihood. It’s fitna.

Did you know?
There’s no authentic Hadith that says Salat (prayer) will be abandoned when the Mahdi or Messiah appears. In fact, the opposite is true: they will revive the spirit and practice of Islam — especially Salat.

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) foretold about the Mahdi:

“He will follow my Sunnah and will not awaken those who sleep nor shed blood.”
(Kanz al-‘Ummāl, Hadith 38661)
He will be peaceful and deeply devoted to the Sunnah — including prayer.
The Prophet (ﷺ) also said:

“Then your Imam from among you will lead you in prayer.”
(Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, Kitāb al-Īmān)
This refers to the Mahdi. Salat will not end — it will be led by a righteous Imam during his time.

Who is Abdullah Hashem of AROPL?
Not the Mahdi.
Not the Qa’im.
Just another false claimant.
Let’s expose AROPL—Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light—using the Qur’an, Hadith, and the words of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as).
#FalseMahdi #Islam
#MahdiHasAppeared
AROPL claims divinely appointed infallible leaders.
But the Qur’an 33:40 says:

“Muhammad (SAW) is… the Seal of the Prophets.”
No divine guide, prophet, or shari‘ah-bringer after Rasulullah (sa).
Their claims collapse right here.
Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:3:

“This day have I perfected your religion…”
AROPL’s “new jurisprudence,” “new books,” and esoteric knowledge = bid‘ah.
Islam is already complete.
No upgrades needed.

Can the world’s top 1% end hunger and poverty?
Yes. But will they? Less certain.
What’s more remarkable is how the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama‘at—despite modest means—may one day outdo the 1% in uplifting humanity.
InSha’Allah.
Here’s how:
#Ahmadiyya #EndPoverty #FaithInAction
The global 1% (≈80 million people) control $150 trillion+ in wealth.
Just 0.2% of that ($300B) could end world hunger & poverty every year.
Yet it hasn’t happened.
Why?
#WealthInequality #GlobalJustice
Because the 1% lack one thing: unified, selfless purpose.
Their giving is often fragmented, performative, or tax-driven.
Their loyalty?
Not to God. Not to the poor.
But to shareholders.
