SitRep - 11/05/25 - Putin rejects US-EU-UA 30-day ceasefire proposal

An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. During a press conference, Putin made it clear: first talks about the 'root cause', then a possible ceasefire.

We start with Russian losses over the past 24 hours.
At night, Shaheds were shot down
Russian armor destroyed in the Pokrovsk direction.
Ukrainian drones succesfully hit the Bazalt plant.
Sentinel footage also confirms a succesful strike on a recently built weapons plant.
A building occupied by Russians wiped out.
Man to man fighting in the ruins of Vovchansk. There is still being fought hard on a daily basis.
A Russian TOR-M2 destroyed
And a BUK-M1 air defense system destroyed
Lets continue with the general events. Putin held a press conference in which be basically says: I don't accept your 30-day ceasefire.
This man is so full of nonsense.
France replied to Putin's statements, calling it a good step but by far not enough.
Hungary again putting a diplomatic game with Ukraine.
State Dept. says Russia needs to act, not speak words.
My personal take on this whole set of events.
Which Ushakov confirmed during the day.
Putin says: first talkings on the 'root cause', and afterwards we can talk on a ceasefire.
Erdogan said he is ready to contribute.
For the first time, the Pope spoke out about Ukraine.
Bolton thinks Putin is overplaying his hand.
The UK with some more aid for Ukraine.
Smart move? Zelensky will head to Istanbul next thursday, inviting Putin there for direct talks. No more excuses.
