Want better strikes, straighter shots, and a swing that actually feels right?
All you need is two balls, a tee, and 5 minutes. 🧵
This drill trains your club path and body movement simultaneously.

Many golfers just try to “miss” obstacles that are in the way to fix their club path.

That’s not a fix. That’s dodging the issue.
Let’s actually change how you move.
Set-up:

Place two balls, about a 9-iron’s width apart.

A tee goes just outside the front ball.
Address the outer ball like you're going to hit it...

But you’re actually going to try and strike the inner ball. Image
Why this works:

To hit that inner ball while addressing the outer, you HAVE to:

Drop your hands closer to you
Control the club path
Move your pelvis properly

In short: you train a pro-like motion—without overthinking it.
This kills early extension and thrusting towards the ball.

If you spin out, cast, or swing “over the top,” you’ll struggle even to touch the inside ball, which is perfect.

It forces better sequencing through feel, not theory.
Don’t cheat it.

If you try to "fix" it with shoulder rotation alone, the strike won’t happen.

The drill forces your body to work better.
You’ll have to create space with your pelvis—just like elite players do. Image
Most amateurs shove the pelvis forward in the downswing.

Then they have to lift and stall just to hit the ball.

This drill changes that.

You’ll learn to move the pelvis back, giving you space and angles to strike it properly.
Best part?

This isn't just for range rats.

You can warm up with it.
Do it on the course.

Line up a few balls and groove it into your routine.
Feel is key.

After a few reps, you’ll start to notice how your body adjusts.

You’ll feel what a better path and posture actually feels like.

That’s when improvement sticks—because you can repeat it.
This drill changes TWO fundamentals:

Club path
Pelvis & body movement

Most golfers only ever fix one. This does both at once and gives you long-term results.

Let’s talk driver loft.

It might seem boring, but if you’re not thinking about loft correctly, you’re 100% leaving distance on the table.

And here’s the kicker: Most golfers are playing too little loft.
"Lower loft = more distance."
That’s what you’ve heard, right?

It’s why so many drivers get sold at 9 or 10 degrees.
But that thinking?

It’s outdated—and probably hurting your game.
Let’s look at delivery.

If you add loft at impact (like most amateurs do), your 10° driver could deliver 17-23° of loft.

You’re ballooning shots without realising it.

And if your delivery’s weak? You're adding loft and hitting down. That’s a recipe for 3,500+ spin and short, floaty drives.

Start by bringing the club into “last parallel” — shaft parallel to your feet line, face slightly turned down.

This student has made a good backswing with some healthy chest turn. On the downswing the rotation just STALLS. ❌

How do we fix that? 🤓

Rather than look at the RESULTING swing moves, we need to look at the ROOT CAUSE to solve the problem. 

Let’s do that with this example…
PROBLEM No. 1:

Coming into last parallel, trail elbow flexion is 91 degrees (180 degrees = a dead straight arm) Tour Pro range is 74-86 degrees.

❌ He’s over-straightening his trail arm too early!

There’s an issue with his club face too. 🫣
