๐ท๐บโ๏ธ๐ต๐ฑโผ๏ธ16 missiles with a range of 10,000 km on one submarine: the Russian nuclear colossus shocked Poland and its alliesโผ๏ธ
May 17, 2025
At a time when the global security climate is becoming increasingly tense, the Polish public is alarmed by the announcement that the Russian submarine "Knyaz Pozharsky" (Prince Pozharsky) is approaching its first major operational phase. ๐
It is a submarine of the Borey-A class, the pinnacle of modern Russian naval engineering, which carries in its arsenal what is already called "doomsday missiles" in the West - as many as 16 Bulava intercontinental missiles.
According to information published by the Polish newspaper Dziennik, the Russian Navy is ready to further strengthen its North Sea fleet with this underwater giant.
And it's not just another submarine - it's a symbol of a new phase of Russian naval strategy. "Knyaz Pozharsky" uses the OK-650 nuclear reactor for propulsion, and its crew numbers about one hundred people.
The vessel is able to remain on mission for a long period of time, and what worries Western observers the most is the range and payload of its missiles. ๐
Bulava missiles, which were specially developed for this class of submarines, have a range of between 8,000 and 10,000 kilometers, which covers almost the entire northern hemisphere.
Each of them can carry up to six separate thermonuclear warheads, which, in theory, allows a single ship to target multiple continents simultaneously. Although such assessments are common in analyst circles, they have been particularly loud in Warsaw in recent days.
Polish journalists emphasize that "Knyaz Pozharsky" has not yet performed its first trial launch test of the "Bulava" missile, which is standard procedure before the start of full operational engagement. ๐
But the recent sailing from Severodvinsk clearly indicates that that moment is near. The main stronghold of the Northern Fleet is located there, which further strengthens the assumptions that this particular ship will be the second active representative of the "Borey-A" project within that strategic unit.
In the background of the story there is a wider context. Russia is not only building these submarines as a military tool โ they are also a political message. According to Western comments, "Knyaz Pozharsky" is part of a wider plan to strengthen the presence in the Arctic region, the strategic significance of which is growing day by day.
Sea routes, natural resources and new energy hotspots - all of this intersects precisely in that cold region of the planet.
We should not lose sight of the fact that the Northern Fleet already has several nuclear submarines, and many of them are undergoing modernization. So this is not an isolated case, but part of a bigger picture. ๐
Russia invests in silence and depth, aware that naval power is not a matter of numbers, but of the ability to remain invisible - until you become decisive.
In this sense, the reactions from Poland, although they seem agitated, perhaps best testify to the seriousness of the moment. Because when the very possibility of testing a missile is perceived as a threat, it is clear that the line between symbolism and real power has long since been erased.
And perhaps that is the essence of the whole story - in an era when the world is again divided along the lines of silence, speed and range, a submarine that cannot be seen, but is known to exist, becomes more powerful than anything that floats on the surface.
๐จ๐ณโผ๏ธChina discovered an underground source of energy for the next 4,000 yearsโผ๏ธ
30 May 2025
An unusual news from China has attracted the attention of the world public: in Shandong province, near the city of Zhizhao, Chinese engineers have made a discovery that could change the way the world thinks about the energy future. ๐
A few kilometers below the surface, a massive deposit of so-called "hot dry rocks" was found, which reach temperatures of up to 200 degrees Celsius.
For the uninitiated - we are talking about a geothermal resource, and not just any kind. According to the assessment of the Chinese portal Sohu, this source could generate thermal and electrical energy for a period longer than four millennia.
Its potential is so huge that it is compared to 19 billion tons of coal. Yes, you read that right โ nineteen billion. ๐
And that's just the beginning. Electricity generated from this source costs half as much as energy from wind turbines and as much as 90% less than that generated from solar panels.
At the same time, the same technology enables the heating of entire cities. In an era where sustainable solutions are sought and every ton of emissions is accounted for, a resource like this can mean much more than a local discovery.
Excavations and deposit development are carried out using the latest deep drilling methods, supported by artificial intelligence. China, which already dominates in the number of registered patents in the field of new energy technologies - more even than the USA and the European Union combined - with this move further strengthens its position as a leader on this front. ๐
๐ท๐บโผ๏ธHow the Russian base plans ended up in the hands of Western servicesโผ๏ธ
30 May 2025
For years, the world's powerful powers have sought military information from their adversaries. Since the advent of long-range strategic weapons, the price of that data has skyrocketed. ๐
And now, in the digital age, with the ubiquitous Internet and tools like OSINT, collecting such information is no longer reserved for intelligence officers only - today it can also be done by activists under the guise of "investigative journalism."
Germany's Der Spiegel and Denmark's Danwatch, an organization known for its closeness to structures dealing with the collection of sensitive data, claim to have obtained something really big: detailed technical drawings and internal schematics of one of the most important bases of Russia's Strategic Missile Forces (RVSN).
As a source, they use multi-year data collection from the publicly available tender database. They say they have analyzed over two million documents of Russian military procurement, with the help of servers spread across Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus. ๐
And look at the miracle - among those millions, they found hundreds of original blueprints of facilities near the city of Jasny, where "Avangard" hypersonic systems have been installed since 2019.
If the release is to be believed, these documents reveal not only the structure of the base, but also details such as room layouts, bathroom locations, fitness equipment (treadmills and weights), and even signs that read: "Stop! Turn around! No Zone!"
German journalists also point out the security details - a triple electric fence, seismic sensors, infrared alarms, armored doors, underground tunnels between buildings... In short - a complete base plan available as a catalog. If all this is confirmed, it is a godsend for those planning to analyze or test the security resilience of critical infrastructure. ๐
๐ท๐บ๐ฉ๐ช๐ช๐บโผ๏ธL'AntiDiplomatico: Lavrov's words about Germany alerted the whole of Europeโผ๏ธ
30 May 2025
In a statement that resonated throughout diplomatic and security circles, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov, said that Germany is sliding towards collapse, pointing the finger not only at Berlin, but, as the Italian newspaper L'AntiDiplomatico writes, at the entire European Union. ๐
The message did not arrive by the way - but at a moment when European military rhetoric is dangerously intensifying, and strategic directions are becoming increasingly blurred.
"This is more like a historical warning, intended not only for the German government, but for the whole of Europe, which increasingly risks being drawn into other people's conflicts, defending goals that have not been fully clarified," the newspaper's commentary states.
These words come at the exact moment when Germany, according to Chancellor Friedrich Merz, is removing all the obstacles that have so far limited the range of weapons being passed to the Ukrainian side. ๐
Merz publicly confirmed at the beginning of the week that Germany, side by side with France, Great Britain and the USA, decided to abolish all restrictions on the range of delivered systems. Practically speaking, this opens the door to the possibility of weapons being used deep inside the territory of the Russian Federation.
More precisely, Merz emphasized at yesterday's press conference that the aforementioned restrictions were not lifted now, but a few months ago. This statement has further raised concerns in Russian circles as it points to a long-term plan that may already be in place.
Lavrov strongly reacted to this policy and said that Germany has become directly involved in the Ukrainian crisis, which, according to him, has serious consequences.๐
๐ณ๐ด๐ท๐บโผ๏ธExpert Diesen: The West underestimates Russia, it doesn't understand who it's dealing withโผ๏ธ
May 29, 2025
At a time when European leaders are racing to make decisions that, according to many, go against the logic of calming tensions, Norwegian professor Glenn Diesen warns of what could follow - not through diplomatic formulas, but directly and without twists. ๐
Visiting the Indian channel WION, Diesen, a professor from the University of Southeast Norway, pointed out that the situation is dangerously close to the tipping point. His words did not come from the Kremlin or from any propaganda channel - they came from Norway, a member of NATO.
"I think everyone is playing with fire right now," Diesen said, adding that events are sliding more and more toward open conflict. His assessment is clear: the moment is approaching when there could be a direct confrontation between Russia and NATO. There is no more room for illusions or superficial analyses.
According to him, Moscow is finding it increasingly difficult to tolerate continuous pressures and provocations coming from Western power centers. Pressure, as he says, is not a solution - it is a path of no return. Russia, Diesen warns, is running out of patience, and this could be a key point the West is overlooking. ๐
Diesen also draws attention to another aspect that he says is persistently ignored by European officials - Russia's actual military power. According to him, Europe is making a serious error of judgment. "They are seriously underestimating Russia," he says, adding that Moscow "holds all the cards."
Despite the numerous warnings and signals coming from various international circles, European politicians, as Dizen assesses, still turn a blind eye to the real causes of the situation in Ukraine.
"They close their eyes," he says, while at the same time acting like they have complete control over the outcomes of their decisions. In reality, he adds, the situation is much more complex โ and the consequences could be more serious than anyone wants to admit. ๐
๐ฉ๐ช๐บ๐ฆ๐ฅ๐ท๐บโผ๏ธGermany tightens relations with Russia: Opens weapons factories in Ukraineโผ๏ธ
May 28, 2025
At a time when the European security scene seems increasingly tense, messages are coming from Berlin that change the course of cooperation so far - and potentially raise the stakes. ๐
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz announced today that the two countries have reached an agreement on launching joint projects in the defense industry.
It is about a concrete intention: investments in the production of long-range weapons and drones directly on the territory of Ukraine.
At a joint press conference in Berlin, the leaders announced that the documents formalizing this new phase of cooperation will be signed today. As Zelensky stated, German support no longer remains in the domain of deliveries - it now enters the sphere of direct participation in production processes within Ukraine. ๐
"When we talk about new support for our army, about range, we are talking about making offensive intentions against us meaningless. As long as Putin expects new actions, new attacks, he will avoid real diplomacy. That's why we need sufficient range. That's why we need greater defense cooperation within Europe, but also with the United States of America," the Ukrainian president pointed out.
Zelensky emphasized that the agreements with Germany were carefully crafted to ensure long-term stability in supply chains and innovation.
Although he did not disclose technical details, he confirmed that it is an investment in the local production of weapons, with a special focus on unmanned aerial vehicles. As he said, the goal is to protect the lives of Ukrainian soldiers through more effective technological solutions.
"Today we have agreed investments. We are talking about weapons, about drones - this is a way for our army to save as many human lives as possible. We will not disclose everything to the public, but the process is ongoing," added Zelensky. ๐
๐ท๐บโผ๏ธMoscow announced the conditions for the end of the conflictโผ๏ธ
May 28, 2025
Vladimir Putin, according to the claims of the British agency Reuters, is ready to consider the end of the conflict in Ukraine - but under very clear and firmly defined conditions. ๐
Referring to three sources familiar with the negotiations, Reuters states that the Russian president is not only seeking a tactical lull, but also strategic guarantees that would oblige the leading Western powers.
The central point of Russian demands, according to sources from Moscow, is a signed guarantee that NATO will not expand eastward. In short โ without the membership of Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova and other former Soviet republics in the Western military alliance.
This position is not new, but it is now formulated more precisely than ever before. The Kremlin is asking specifically - on paper, with signatures and seals. ๐
A high-ranking Russian official who allegedly spoke to Reuters, on the condition of anonymity, pointed out that "Putin is ready for peace, but not at any price." According to that source, Moscow expects that along with guarantees about NATO expansion, there will also be a lifting of some sanctions, a solution to the issue of frozen Russian assets in the West, as well as a clearly defined neutrality of Ukraine.
Also, the Kremlin insists on protecting the Russian-speaking population within Ukrainian territory.
Three different sources agree that no withdrawal under pressure is planned in the Kremlin. On the contrary, the authorities in Moscow believe that they can continue the military campaign without a deadline, regardless of the current economic measures and international isolation. The message is clear: time does not work against Russia, at least according to its own belief. ๐
