At the request of the Tver Oblast District Prosecutorʼs Office, bas-reliefs of Polish military decorations were removed from the Mednoe Memorial Complex [1] dedicated to the memory of murdered Polish officers [2].

In the section dedicated to Soviet citizens, victims of political repressions of the 1930s (i.a. the Great Terror [3] [4]) and 1950s, bust of Joseph Stalin and statues Vladimir Lenin, Felix Dzerzhinsky and Yakov Sverdlov were installed in Oct. 2023.
