🧵DEVELOPING: Attorneys for an illegal alien who was convicted of killing a WA State Trooper are trying to get the case dismissed on the eve of sentencing claiming prosecutors violated WA's sanctuary state laws by allegedly cooperating with federal immigration officials.

Raul Benitez-Santana, a Mexican national & repeat criminal offender who was in the US illegally, was convicted earlier this month of vehicular homicide and vehicular assault for fatally striking Trooper Chris Gadd while driving intoxicated at 107 mph on the shoulder of I-5.

According to court documents obtained by @JeremyHarrisTV the prosecution argued in a response to the motion that the defense failed to show any coordination between prosecutors and ICE rose to a level that would violate Washington law or constitutional protections.

🧵NEW: A family has sued Seattle Public Schools & administrators at Nathan Hale High School after their daughter was subjected to months of antisemitic harassment that school officials ignored—culminating in a mob forcing the teen to hide inside a locked classroom.

The abuse began shortly after the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel on Oct 7, 2023. Tensions surged at Nathan Hale, & the victim—a freshman, the only Jewish member of the softball team & one of very few openly Jewish students at the school—quickly became a visible target.

She had antisemitic slurs yelled at her including “Hitler’s plan should have worked." One student yelled at her with such force that spit landed on her face & told her she “deserved it” for being Jewish & threatened to assault her if she wore Hanukkah-themed cloths to school.

🧵BREAKING: As part of an ongoing investigation involving a former Monroe High School teacher accused of rape and sexual misconduct with a minor, the Monroe Police Department has arrested the teacher for a second time after a victim’s statements were substantiated.

The female victim alleges that in late 2018, the suspect initiated interaction with her while she was a student during school hours, and a sexual relationship continued through her senior year. Physical contact ended after graduation when she moved out of state.

The Monroe Police Department isn't naming the victim for privacy protection or the suspect due to charges (on this newest offense) not being formally filed yet.

🧵EXCLUSIVE: As he left office, WA Gov Jay Inslee enabled a murderer to be released without consideration for the victims' families

On 6/12/80 Timothy Pauley & Scott Smith robbed a tavern in SeaTac, WA killing 2 men & a woman. Pauley has spent 40 years in prison for the crimes

There was no press release or announcement. Inslee previously tried to release serial killers like the Green River Killer during COVID

Pauley, who was described by victims' families as a "master manipulator" convinced Inslee he had "remorse" for butchering 3 people

On 3/27 he'll be released by the Indeterminate Sentence Review Board to Bonney Lake near victims' families because sufficient protections weren't put in place

Family members believe his "…rehabilitation is an act" & said "We're the ones that served the life sentence not him"

Saldana has a history of radical activism. In 2021 She backed Ubax Gardheere for King County Council, even after it was revealed that she was arrested after threatening to blow up a school bus filled with kids and called them cowards for fleeing
