(1/10) #Culiacan #Sinaloa #Tijuana #BajaCalifornia We’re back with exclusive information! We got new details about the cooperation agreements involving Ovidio Guzmán López and his brother Joaquín, as well as the story behind how 17 of their relatives entered the United States. While the family’s attorney, Jeffrey Lichtman—who has vastly increased his fortune representing El Chapo and his sons—denies that the U.S. government granted entry to the Guzmán López family members as part of any deal, the truth can’t be hidden. The U.S. doesn't hand out privileges of that magnitude for free.Image
Image
(2/10) Since September 2024, Ovidio Guzmán López had been trying to convince U.S. prosecutors to allow him to remove his closest relatives from Mexico, arguing their lives were in danger due to the ongoing war between his brother Iván and Ismael Zambada Sicairos, a.k.a. "El Mayito Flaco."Image
Image
(3/10) After months of negotiations, the U.S. government agreed to grant special entry permits to 17 family members of Ovidio and Joaquín Guzmán López so they could start a new life far from the violence in Sinaloa. Initially, Ovidio submitted a list of 27 names, but the U.S. only approved 17, who crossed into the U.S. through the San Ysidro Port of Entry on May 9.Image
(4/10) It’s important to clarify that this was not a voluntary surrender to U.S. immigration agents, as some media have claimed, but rather a pre-arranged crossing coordinated between Ovidio, Joaquín, their attorneys and the U.S. Department of Justice. Image
(5/10) On the morning of May 9, three King Air 200 aircraft arrived in Ensenada, Baja California, from Culiacán. On board were the closest relatives of Ovidio and Joaquín Guzmán López, including their mother, Griselda López Pérez, one of El Chapo Guzmán’s wives. Image
(6/10) Also among them were Ovidio’s wife, Adriana Meza Torres, and their three daughters: Adriana, Griseli, and María Joaquina. Most of the individuals who crossed into the U.S. that day belong to the Guzmán López family, with two exceptions: Alejandrina Gisselle Guzmán Salazar and her husband Edgar Cázares. These two are part of the Guzmán Salazar branch and were the only members from that side accepted by the U.S. government.Image
Image
(7/10) Once they arrived in Ensenada, the 17 family members were transported in Chevrolet Suburbans to Tijuana and dropped off at the San Ysidro Port of Entry. The person in charge of this operation was Jaziel Abdiel Guzmán Araujo, son of “El Guano” and Ovidio Guzmán López’s most trusted cousin.Image
Image
(8/10) But what did Ovidio and Joaquín provide in exchange for the U.S. welcoming these 17 relatives? Sources close to the case confirmed that the brothers delivered highly valuable intelligence, not only on the operations of the Sinaloa Cartel but also on other groups like that of Fausto Isidro Meza Flores, a.k.a. “El Chapo Isidro.” They also exposed connections between these criminal organizations and senior military and political figures within Mexico’s ruling Morena party, including Sinaloa Governor Rubén Rocha Moya and Tamaulipas Governor Américo Villarreal. Additionally, they provided the names of front companies and figureheads used by the Zambada family to launder drug money through industries such as hospitality, construction, and agriculture.Image
Image
Image
(9/10) Another major component of their cooperation involved a list of Chinese companies and individuals participating in the chemical supply chain for fentanyl production. Thanks to this information, the U.S. Department of Justice was able to identify dozens of companies responsible for manufacturing, importing, and laundering money linked to fentanyl, one of the top priorities of President Donald Trump’s administration.Image
(10/10) And what was the most significant part of Ovidio and Joaquín’s cooperation with U.S. prosecutors? The Guzmán López brothers handed over $14 billion to the United States government, including offshore bank accounts, cryptocurrency wallets, and properties in several cities across Mexico and worldwide. That staggering sum was the cherry on top that finally persuaded U.S. prosecutors to approve the entry of the 17 relatives. Ovidio will appear in court on July 9, 2025, to submit his guilty plea to Judge Sharon Johnson Coleman. Joaquín is due in court on June 2. (END)Image

Image

(1/7) #Culiacan #Sinaloa #CDMX The arrest of Jose Angel Canobbio Inzunza today in the Las Quintas neighborhood of Culiacán marks a significant blow to Los Chapitos' organization, though it was an expected development. Known as “El Güerito,” Josa Ángel has already been transferred to Mexico City, and it is highly likely that in the coming weeks, or at most months, he will be extradited to the United States, specifically to the Federal Court in Chicago, where he faces drug trafficking charges. In this thread, we will explain the significance of “El Güerito” within the Sinaloa Cartel and why his capture was long anticipated…Image
Image
(2/7) On January 10th 2025, rumors circulated in Culiacán that members of the National Guard had arrested Jose Angel Canobbio Inzunza. Where there’s smoke, there’s fire, and that day, the rumor was true. “El Güerito” was detained at one of his properties by a ten-member squad, who, in absolute secrecy, concealed the arrest from their fellow officers with the intent of negotiating a hefty bribe for his release. José Angel initially offered $5 million in cash, but the unit commander demanded $10 million. “El Güerito” agreed to the sum and radioed his brother, Jorge Abraham, alias “El Bronto,” instructing him to gather the money. As Jorge Abraham worked on assembling the funds, “El Güerito” was transported to a National Guard barracks to prevent an armed confrontation between cartel sicarios and law enforcement. It was during this transfer that rumors of his arrest began to spread.
(3/7)“El Bronto” knew time was against him. An arrest of this magnitude couldn’t remain secret for long. Within two hours, he had the money organized into three suitcases and reached out to Joel Ontiveros, alias “El J3,” a trusted operator for Los Chapitos, to see if he had someone with no criminal record who could deliver the money to the National Guard barracks. “El J3” replied that no such person was available at the moment, so “El Bronto” turned to Iván Archivaldo Guzmán for help.Image

Image

(1/5) #BajaCalifornia #BajaCaliforniaSur #Sinaloa #Sonora #California A U.S. Air Force Boeing RC-135 Rivet Joint spy plane flew over the Baja California Peninsula on Monday, February 3rd. The flight took place on the same day that President Claudia Sheinbaum held a phone call with Donald Trump, during which she committed to deploying 10,000 National Guard personnel to the northern border to curb the flow of migrants and fentanyl into the United States in exchange for a one-month freeze on the 25% tariffs on Mexican products. But what exactly do these spy flights entail, and why are they significant? 🧵Image
(2/5) The RC-135 Rivet Joint aircraft are reconnaissance planes the United States uses in war zones or areas of diplomatic tension. These aircraft, manufactured by Boeing and enhanced by military technology companies such as Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics, and L3Harris Technologies, are equipped for intercepting signal communications, a process known as SIGINT (signals intelligence). In simple terms, these planes can intercept communications from radio, cellular phones, the internet, and virtually any electromagnetic wave medium. They are also equipped with specialized technology to decrypt messages in any language and determine the geolocation of the devices from which these communications originate. In recent years, U.S. military intelligence has used these spy planes to track terrorist groups such as ISIS and Al-Qaeda in Syria and Afghanistan, as well as the Russian Armed Forces along the Ukrainian border, the Black Sea, and Crimea. For over a decade, RC-135 Rivet Joint aircraft have regularly flown over the Caribbean Sea near Venezuelan maritime territory, particularly over the island of Aruba, to monitor the Nicolas Maduro regime.Image
Image
Image
Image
(3/5) These spy planes typically have a crew of around 30 personnel, consisting of two or three pilots, three officers specializing in gathering wartime intelligence—such as identifying enemy vehicles, tanks, and helicopters—approximately 20 analysts who simultaneously intercept radio, cell phone, satellite phone, and internet communications, and an operator specializing in detecting unusual communication systems, such as private antennas with encrypted networks. During these missions, U.S. military personnel can identify the voices of Mexico’s most wanted cartel leaders, including Ismael Zambada Sicairos, "El Mayito Flaco"; Ivan Archivaldo Guzman Salazar; and Fausto Isidro Meza Flores, "El Chapo Isidro."Image

Image

(1/10) #Quila #Sinaloa The arrest of Juan Carlos Félix Gastelum, alias “El Chavo Félix,” the preferred son-in-law of Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada, underscores the situation we described in the previous thread regarding why El Mayito Flaco is hiding in Durango. Sinaloa is no longer secure for the Zambada family. Both the state and federal governments are aligned with the Chapitos, but in Durango, the situation is different; that state belongs to the Cabrera Sarabia family, where Mayito Flaco is safe, which is why he avoids Sinaloa. In this thread, we will explain who “El Chavo Félix” is and the circumstances surrounding his arrest...Image
Image
(2/10) At this moment, El Mayito Flaco must be holding a glass of whiskey in his hand, celebrating the arrest of his brother-in-law, “El Chavo Félix.” El Mayito Flaco has never had a good relationship with him for several reasons. The primary reason is that he has always felt jealousy towards him because El Mayo holds him in high regard. When El Mayo learns in the Brooklyn jail that “El Chavo” has been arrested, it will likely dampen his spirits. He saw Chavo grow up like one of his sons and always provided him with a significant role within the Sinaloa Cartel. “El Chavo” is the son of Juan Francisco Félix Ojeda, alias “Panchón Félix,” one of El Mayo’s most trusted lieutenants, who was under the command of José Lamberto Verdugo Calderón.
(3/10) “El Chavo Félix” is married to Teresita Zambada Ortiz, the cherished daughter of El Mayo Zambada. When El Mayo was imprisoned in Ciudad Juarez, she was the only daughter, along with Serafin Zambada, who visited him, as both were born in California and had no pending legal issues in the United States. “El Chavo Felix” has always been known for his love of parties, women, and liquor. He is very close friends with Juan José Ponce Félix, alias “El Ruso,” leader of a powerful faction of the Zambada cartel known as “Los Rusos,” based in Mexicali, which controls the entire Imperial Valley and parts of Yuma, Arizona. “El Chavo Félix” and “El Ruso” are well-known in Mexicali for hosting multi-day parties with bands, liquor, drugs, and many women. Mayito Flaco has always been displeased with the fact that “El Chavo Félix” is a womanizer and cheats on Teresita. The only reason Mayito Flaco has not killed his brother-in-law is out of respect for his sister. Larry Hernández is one of the artists who has spent the most time with “El Chavo Félix.” The video below shows the main ranch in Mexicali where the parties with “El Ruso” were held. The photo is from a recent party hosted by “El Chavo Félix.”Image
