Morarji Desai was totally honest. I never believed that he took bribes from CIA as alleged in a book. So, how did he reveal to Gen Zia ul Haque India’s nuclear plans & spy secrets ? It was due to his belief in Gandhian ideology which is a disaster in protecting National Security because it teaches brotherhood even with demonic enemies & Hindu-Muslim unity at any cost.
This ideology prevented us ( Lal Bahadur Shastri) from capturing Lahore in 1965 war though our army was only 13 kms away. This ideology again prevented us from taking POK in 1971 war ( Indira Gandhi) despite our armed forces partitioning Pakistan & holding 93,000 soldiers captive.
This is the main reason why Congress leaders have largely failed in protecting Indian interests in matters of national security unlike PM @narendramodi & HM @AmitShah .
The lessons we have taught to Pakistan in past 10 years could have taught soon after 1948 Pakistani attack through Kabailis. And India’s Maoist Problem which is about to be solved now under HM would have never spread across India like it did.
