Fail Son 1 "rarely, if ever" gets emotional (likely true) but was overcome seeing the graves of those who made the ULTIMATE sacrifice because it made him think about the non-existent sacrifices his family has made to help their father succeed. I'm sorry, what?
The Trump descendants have done nothing but PROFIT from their father's position as POTUS. "We made the Ultimate Sacrifice" - this selfish, self-centered, myopic moron literally just compared whatever the Trump family has or has not gone thru to those who gave their LITERAL LIVES
in service to this country. That he could be so stupid as to even make such a statement isn't surprising. That he could be so privileged, sheltered, & egocentric he actually believes what he's saying isn't surprising.
What's surprising is how many Americans & American veterans
will defend him, this statement, the Trump family, & Donald Trump with all the fervor & passion of a true, blindly loyal cult member & see no irony or false equivalency in that.
I feel two ways about this. First, pure schadenfreude because shame on them & they deserve every bit
of pain/suffering from the fallout that is coming to us all. Part of me reserves little pity simply due to the damage their support of this regime has brought.
Second, borrow from the Bible that many of them claim to believe in but plainly don't follow,
"Forgive them, Father, for they know not what they do."
They are truly lost & it isn't completely their fault. They have been fed a steady diet of propaganda & lies since the beginning of Fox News, primed to be angry & scared for decades. They have been misled by bad actors
online, caught up in algorithms they have no concept of, and fed conspiracy-fueled agitprop, pseudo-science, & snake oil for years now.
How do you get through to a mind that can conjure the mental gymnastics to condone the Trumps bashing those who gave all? /fin

there is something fundamentally wrong with your mind because you have been brainwashed. You are in a cult.
I wish you would realize that he does not care about you. He does not care if you suffer, if you lose your life savings, if you or your loved ones die. /2
He does not care if the he destroys the country or causes worldwide chaos.
He does not care that he has damaged US relations - on all fronts - with the rest of the world for, likely, decades to come. /3
Need I remind Johnson that, in 2005, many said the same thing about rebuilding New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina caused the levees to break & the city to flood. Taxpayers didn't want to send federal aid to rebuild a city that was partially below sea-level & so flood prone. /1
The hurricane, a natural disaster, was not preventable. The flooding of New Orleans was. LSU had - just the previous year - done a study showing what a simulated Cat 5 hurricane (Hurricane Pam) would likely do. /2bit.ly/40CPAf7
The State of Louisiana & the federal government had put off mitigation efforts, mainly shoring up the levee system, for years. Everyone always talked about the illusive maybe-someday Cat 5 storm but no one wanted to spend the money on a probability. /3
This is bullshit. This Christian nationalism madness needs to be stopped dead in its tracks. Its not Christ-like or American, it isn't patriotic - it is religious fascism. There's no LOVE in it. Only hate, oppression, demonization. /1
The entire idea of "warriors" for "Christ" is so epically stupid & ignorant, it is mind-blowing it's gained this much steam. Then again, we live in a time where people thought horse dewormer cured a viral disease. So... yeah. /2
Saying prosecutors should focus on Antifa, judge frees white supremacist in beating () - excuse me, but, WHAT?! Judge Carney should sentence the racist pos based on his crimes/guilty plea not bc he (erroneously) thinks there is a leftist plot against MAGA. msn.com
Wow, completely stunned to see that Judge Cormac Carney has a bit of a past showing himself to be an (allegedly) ignorant racist. 🤔 latimes.com/california/sto…

"During court Wednesday, the defense said that due to Lacey's age, she was fully competent & could make her own decisions."
Doesn't comport with: "The Fletchers say that Lacey's phobias were so bad that she wouldn't even use the restroom in their house." /2
If her mental state was SO bad that she CHOSE to sit in her own feces/urine for days, weeks, & then months, rather than get up & use a toilet, she was plainly not "fully competent" to "make her own decisions." If any of that is even true, & she fought them to be left to slowly /3

If harsher sentencing and/or locking criminals up & throwing away the key (over 90% of the inmates at Angola will die there) worked, LA would be the safest, crime-free state in the nation. Quite the opposite is true. /2
