„According to @CNN [...] Mohamed Sabry Soliman, who is an Egyptian national, is an illegal immigrant in the US. In 2005, he was denied a visa to enter America [1].
2).
Although further details about the man are awaited, @FoxNews' @BillMelugin also amplified the same claims, noting that the accused allegedly came into the country on Aug. 27, 2022, via LA International Airport (LAX) using a B1/B2 nonimmigrant visa.
3).
This visa in question was reportedly only valid through February 26, 2023 [2].

@BillMelugin also stated that on 9/29/22, Soliman possibly filed an asylum claim with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
4).
Thereafter, he was given work authorisation under the Biden administration on 3/29/23. This expired on 3/28/25 [2].”

QUESTION: "Thank you very much. Apparently, a security alert went out yesterday from the U.S. mission to Mexico, warning Americans to use caution when using dating apps in various locations [1]".
@RonFilipkowski @HeyTammyBruce 2).
MS BRUCE: »I think that alert should probably be global. (Laughter.) I don’t know about« —

QUESTION: "Well, apparently some people are getting kidnapped and held for ransom".

MS BRUCE: »Well« —

QUESTION: "Is there any additional information or warning you can provide" —
@RonFilipkowski @HeyTammyBruce 3).
MS BRUCE: »I don’t – we can check on the – look, dating apps these days, when we worry about kids online and everything that goes on, it’s something that I’m not read into enough to even riff about. But it’s – if that’s – if – clearly, if that is occurring,

„Ticket sales and subscription revenue at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts have fallen sharply since @POTUS @realDonaldTrump made himself chairman in Feb., according to data compiled by employees that was obtained by The New York Times.

The WaPo earlier reported [1] on the Kennedy Center data.

The @kencen disputed the relevance of the data on Tues. [2], saying the center had changed some aspects of how it marketed and structured subscriptions recently, including by starting its campaign later than usual.”

„Interview with Howard Amos [1] author of »Russia Starts Here: Real Lives in the Ruins of Empire«

Interviews by Andrew Jack, founder of the Pushkin House Book Prize [2]”

»How important is state propaganda in shaping views?«
@MarkGaleotti @Pushkin_House @howardamos @parfitt_tom 2).
„It’s obviously important, but I do think it’s oversimplified. I find it much more interesting to unpick why people are susceptible to propaganda, and which bits they absorb. For example, what people think about the WWII and its relevance today.
@MarkGaleotti @Pushkin_House @howardamos @parfitt_tom 3).
One woman I interviewed was born in the 1930s and lived through the Nazi occupation of Pskov Region. The war and how it was viewed in the Soviet Union shaped her entire life, as well as that of her husband, who was just too young to fight.

He later posted about his decision on social media, revealing that the tariffs would also be raised for aluminum.

@anneapplebaum @StateDept 2).
Many of Mr Beattie’s social media posts also concern China, repeatedly calling on the US to surrender Taiwan to Beijing, and labelling Britain a “poor and pathetic kingdom” that would be »far better off under Chinese dominion«.
@anneapplebaum @StateDept 3).
@StateDept sources expressed scepticism over whether he had undergone security vetting, a process which has been relaxed under Mr @realDonaldTrump”.
