🧵Jihad isn’t just an inner struggle. It's a religious mandate rooted in Islamic theology, historically used to justify centuries of violent conquest. Western academia has rebranded it—intentionally—stripping jihad of its supremacist and militaristic origins.
@DanBurmawy
The Quran commands warfare: 9:29 orders Muslims to fight non-believers until they submit & pay the jizya. 2:216 calls fighting obligatory. Hadiths echo this. Muhammad said, “Jihad is to be carried on till the Day of Resurrection” (Sahih Bukhari). This isn't metaphorical.
Islamic law codified jihad as both defensive and offensive warfare. Prominent scholars like Ibn Taymiyya & Al-Ghazali affirmed that conquest of non-Muslims was a duty. The four Sunni schools upheld this, with offensive jihad widely practiced across centuries.
From Muhammad’s 86 military campaigns to the Ottomans’ advance into Europe, jihad shaped Islamic history. These were not defensive wars. Badr, Khaybar, Yarmouk, Somnath—campaigns that razed temples, enslaved populations, imposed jizya, & erased cultures.
So why is jihad now presented as spiritual or peaceful? Cold War geopolitics played a role: the U.S. backed jihadists in Afghanistan to fight the Soviets. To justify this, jihad was rebranded as noble resistance—stripped of its religious violence.
Western academia joined in. Post-colonial guilt & multicultural ideology led scholars to reinterpret jihad as anti-imperialist, inner struggle, or even social justice. Influenced by thinkers like Edward Said, truth was sacrificed to fit progressive narratives.
After 9/11, the rebranding intensified. “Islamophobia” became a tool to silence scrutiny. Jihad was redefined to maintain social cohesion. Scholars downplayed its link to terror—even as attackers cited Quranic verses as justification.
Claims that jihad is only defensive, spiritual, or colonial myth ignore 1,400 years of bloody history. Muhammad’s offensives, caliphate conquests, and modern jihadist doctrine all point to a consistent religious imperative—not mere political reaction.
Modern scholars like Esposito and Ramadan pushed sanitized versions of jihad to align with Western ideals. But jihad as spiritual discipline or anti-oppression crusade is not what history—or foundational Islamic texts—tell us. It’s revisionist fiction.
Jihad’s violent legacy is deeply embedded in Islamic doctrine. Rebranding it may serve political, academic, or ideological ends—but it denies the suffering of its victims & obscures the theology that inspires global terrorism.

🧵Humanity on Trial: The UN's Pattern of Neglect and Impunity. A must read document "dedicated to the lives lost in silence and those who never stopped speaking out," based on first hand experience

Prepared by @AdlerJoelle Image
UN ignored repeated warnings from Gen. Roméo Dallaire, UNAMIR’s commander.
• The Security Council reduced troop levels even as the genocide escalated.
• The UN blocked proactive rules of engagement and refused reinforcements.
• Not one UN official was ever held accountable Image
UN denied responsibility for years, only
issuing a partial apology in 2016.
• Victims received no formal justice or
compensation.
• Diplomatic immunity shielded
perpetrators from legal consequences.
• Investigations lacked transparency and
failed to prosecute offenders. Image

🧵In this post, I’ll go through @piersmorgan latest substack post point by point, exposing the revisionism at work & unpacking how Piers Morgan is once again turning criticism into a self-serving performance. He’s not being silenced—he’s being fact-checked. He doesn’t like it. Image
After his disgraceful treatment of @HausdorffMedia and repeated misrepresentation of facts surrounding Gaza and Hamas, Morgan is now trying to reframe himself as the reasonable, misunderstood victim. Let’s be clear: it’s damage control.
Image
Piers Morgan starts by pretending to grasp the horror of facing a genocidal enemy—he doesn’t. Then he claims Israel risks becoming guilty of the very terror it fights. That’s not moral clarity—it’s obscene, dishonest, and a grotesque distortion of reality. Image

🧵 @piersmorgan in his latest circus between comedian @ComicDaveSmith & @HausdorffMedia was a staggering display of contempt & disrespect for the woman he invited to his show. Piers even sneered that “numbers aren’t her strong point,” a cheap, sexist jab suggesting she’s stupid. Image
Piers insists his shift on Israel isn’t due to pressure Numbers “aren’t his strong point,” just like honesty. Tucker Carlson says Piers once told him he “hated Israel with every fiber of his body.” That would explains everything.
Image
Since numbers “aren’t Piers’ thing,” here’s some help: he interrupted @HausdorffMedia 103 times—her longest stretch was 38 seconds. @ComicDaveSmith? Uninterrupted for more than 3 minutes. Piers cut in 3 times How do you like those numbers, Piers? Image

🧵Remembering the Lod Airport Massacre: From Marxists in Tokyo to radicals in D.C., the faces have changed, but the mission hasn’t—murder for “Palestine.” The past didn’t die—it rebranded. Now it marches through campuses, trends on TikTok & loads weapons in D.C. Image
53 years ago today, 3 Japanese Marxists landed in Israel. Their violin cases hid assault rifles—not instruments. Minutes later, they opened fire at Lod Airport, killing 26, mostly Christians from Puerto Rico and wounding 80. It was a bloodbath Image
They weren’t Palestinian. They weren’t Arab. They weren’t Muslim. They didn’t scream “Allahu Akbar.” They were Japanese Marxists—clean-cut, calm, and armed to the teeth. Members of the Japanese Red Army, they had trained with the PFLP in Lebanon. Image

🧵UNICEF’s latest statement accusing Israel of a “ruthless war on children” is not just disgraceful – it is malicious, dangerous, and dripping with the oldest blood libel.

Let’s be crystal clear: UNICEF is not speaking for children. It is speaking for terrorists.

@HillelNeuer Image
UNICEF's so-called “statement” is full of lies & distortions. Truth clearly doesn’t matter – only narrative. And what is that narrative? The same one that has haunted Jews for centuries: the slanderous, vile lie that Jews kill children.

@HillelNeuer @EylonALevy @stateofapod
The UN’s al-Najjar report is riddled with lies. AI images, recycled photos, kids "killed" months ago, and zero verified evidence. IDF denies involvement, yet the UN parrots Hamas propaganda without question.
