Yesterday, Sean Feucht shared a video responding to the current allegations of financial misconduct and spiritual abuse.
You'll have to watch it for full context and tone, but some takeaways:
🎉Frames allegations as a demonic smear campaign
🎉Discredits whistleblowers as distant embittered former volunteers
🎉Emphasizes that this is persecution/warfare and even a personal attack on his family (DARVO)
🎉Reasserts his authority and ability to leverage legal support
🎉Bolsters his image by listing accomplishments

Sean Feucht responds to current events & allegations (starts around 8:30)
🎉Allegations framed as a demonic smear campaign
-"This is not just about me. This is about the spirit of chaos and perversion. This is demonic." (while also referencing wider issues.)
-"None of those allegations are true… they’re regurgitating Rolling Stone."
-"These people are bad faith actors… they just want to tear down. It’s the usual suspects—it’s Christianity Today, it’s Julie Roys, it’s all these hack job journalists." @reachjulieroys
-"You feel like… you know the disloyalty, and the stabbing in the back… but no—our fight is not against people."
🎉Discredits whistleblowers as distant embittered former volunteers
-"When you have embittered, angry, upset former volunteers… These are not staff people."
-"These are volunteers we had to dismiss because of moral issues… 10 years ago, 15 years ago… some I only met once." (Note how "moral issues" is left conveniently vague."
-"They know nothing about our organization… They know nothing about our day-to-day… They know nothing about our financial situation."
🎉Emphasizes that this is persecution/warfare and even a personal attack on his family (DARVO)
-"These attacks… these doxing efforts… these false allegations… these attacks on my family—I mean, think about it: my family, guys… where my kids go to school—crazy stuff." (Ironically, this borders on using family as a human shield.)
-"We’ve endured this stuff before… defamatory allegations, lawsuits, slander—it’s all spiritual."
-"I had no clue that I would literally be writing [my book on spiritual warfare] in real time as I’m living it."
🎉Reasserts his authority and ability to leverage legal support
-"Those that are regurgitating falsehoods and defamatory stuff… better be ready."
-"We have the lawyers… there are legal consequences… and our team is really good."
-"We’re in great standing with the IRS. We’re in great standing with our accountants."
-"Every single penny that has been raised… has gone to fulfill its Kingdom purpose, and I stand by that."
🎉Bolsters his image by listing accomplishments
-"We’ve done 50 state capitals… plus 20 more cities. We go hard."
-"We got a bus. We got a sound system...We got real estate in DC… We’re building a three-story building in India."
-"We’ve rescued almost 1,300 children from the clutches of sex trafficking and child labor camps."
"This ministry is actually doing stuff… If there’s one ministry you want to get behind, it’s this one."

When Eric arrived on the stage as IHOPKC’s crisis manager, none of us knew him. He claimed to only represent the innocent. And he condescendingly labeled the online community of advocates “armchair investigators,” which only galvanized our commitment to the cause.
He then created a media circus that he accidentally (?) became the center of.
More below, feel free to fill in the gaps 👕🧵

Eric Volz is not a spokesperson/PR manager. He runs a crisis agency that specializes in working with legal teams and creating “show trials.”
Please read both slides to understand - a show trial could be loosely described as propaganda.
Eric & his agency claim they ONLY represent the innocent - how are they determining true innocence with those who have not yet been criminally investigated?
It’s worth noting Eric has bragged that he was the only one allowed to interview Mike Bickle - and for 6 hours - and that during his time at IHOPKC he never witnessed any abuse or misconduct.
Numerous victim stories in the media would say otherwise.
